|
---|
Hope you all are doing well and good and enjoying the best days of your life. This is me @shahid2030 from Pakistan and you are here reading my post. You all are welcome here from the core of my heart.
This is my participation in a contest The language in my country organized in Steem4Nigeria by@steem4nigeria.
What is the name of your country? How many languages can be found in your country |
---|
I came from a south Asian country Called Pakistan. It's full name is Islamic Republic Of Pakistan. It's a country with multiple cultures and languages
Pakistan is a hub of cultures. More cultures ofcourse mean different people and different languages. Let me count the major languages of my country. First is Urdu (our national Language), Second is Pushto (my mother tongue), third is Punjabi( the most spoken language in our country), fourth is Sindhi, Fifth is Balochi, and sixth is Seriaki. So in my country there are total Six major languages. English has also given the status of Official language.
Among the listed languages in your country, how many are you familiar with? |
---|
Out of all the above mentioned languages I know Urdu, Pushto, Punjabi and English. In total I know four languages.
I know Pushto language, because it's mother tongue. Urdu is our national Language that's why I can speak it. We are exposed to it since the beginning of our education. English is also since the beginning of our schooling and education. Our all course content in the books are in English. Plus I am doing Bachelor in English too. Punjabi I have learned from my friends. I have so many friends from Punjab side. I have done my FSc from there.
How has this language improved/helped your life and business? |
---|
Yes being a multilingual always give you benefits. Especially it helps you in trade, when you negotiate with people from other language. I went to Lahore for a business purposes, there people speak Punjabi language. It was really easy for me to communicate with them. They mostly speak Urdu with outsiders, I mean someone he is not from Punjab.
Knowing many languages is ofcourse a talent and it will help you in every field of life. If you are a businessman, a traveler, in the field of education, indeed everywhere.
Are you willing to teach your children these languages? Yes/No. State your reason. |
---|
Yes I want my childrens to learn these language. Ofcourse they will learn their mother tongue which is Pushto, and along with it these major languages too. In Pakistan Urdu and English and both official and compulsory languages. In academic studies it's important too that you have master both the languages.
In my linguistics Book I have studied that people who know more languages are more intelligent. Their mind work fast. I want my children to be multilingual so their brain work fast. Even in that book some diseases were mentioned that, if you are bilingual or multilingual you will not come up with those diseases.
So being multilingual will give you too many benefits in life. I want my kids to get benefits out of it. If they know many languages, it will be easy for them to interact different people.
This is all about my blog for today, hope you guys have enjoyed reading it. See you soon with a new amazing and interesting topic, till take care.
I would like to invite: @goodybest, @ripon0630, @emsonic, @miyexi, @kouba01, @mile16 to participate in this Contest |

With six major languages in Pakistan, this country is a large country and has a variety of cultures and languages.
Each tribe certainly has its own regional language that is used in carrying out various activities.
Thank you very much for sharing information about the culture and language found in your country. 👏
Hello @shahid2030 the first thing I took from your post is that people who are multilingual are usually very intelligent. I find this to be very true. The benefits of being multilingual you stated are also true as I have experienced some. I also learned something new about your country Pakistan. I wish you luck in the engagement challenge.
Yes dear being bilingual is also beneficial. Thank you so much for your precious comment dear. Keep blessing.
Además del Urdu que es su lengua nativa usted se ha preocupado por conocer dos idiomas propios de su nación, y el inglés que es un idioma universal y sirve para comunicarse con cualquier persona en todo el mundo.
Éxitos en el concurso.
Thank you so much dear for your kind review. Keep blessing.
