Hi steemit friends, I am back in steem 4 Nigeria community to participate in SEC15 WK3: "Growing up in a Rural or Urban Area". Two areas of a country are rural and urban. Although there are differences between village and city, they complement each other. City life is one and village life is different.

As village people play a role for the country, city people play for the development of the country. But for me, the living environment of the city is that of the village, I like the lifestyle of the environment. The fresh breath that can be taken from the natural environment of the village is not available in the city anymore. Each person's taste is different. Some people like the city or some village. But I grew up in the village so I like the village. But I can't imagine a city without a village and I can't imagine a village without a city. Every area like rural and urban plays an extreme role of livelihood in our life.

Distinguish between urban and rural areas by mentioning three main characteristics.

The life style of urban and rural areas is very different. There are many differences between cities and villages. One thing to say is that the roots of city people are in village. Generally people are born in village and from video but some need to move one by one to place or city. Three differences between city and village are:

  1. The natural environment in the village is clear and mesmerizing. There is no noise. Village people are very simple and very hard working. They sympathize with each other. The main livelihood of the village is agriculture. In other words, the people of the village are dependent on agriculture. They earn their livelihood by producing agriculture. In our country, most of the agricultural production shaft comes from the village.

On the other hand, the environment of the city is completely different from the village, Sadhana city is just dust and local noise. There are various types of livelihood jobs for people in the city. In the city, people are involved in various professions for their life. However, there are industries, factories and trade in the city. Due to which the people of the village come to the city to lead a better life.

  1. In terms of education and medical treatment, the village is very backward. Because there are schools and colleges far away in the village. In that case the students have to walk and commute from home. Because of this, many students are harassed for the arrangement. On the other hand, the medical system in the village is not difficult, there are good hospitals and good doctors. There are mostly hammer doctors which are very scary. They have to travel a long way to get to a good hospital.

On the other hand there are private hospitals as well as government hospitals at different places in the city and there are Akter. So, for any disease, you can go to any nearby hospital without becoming a victim and get relief. Besides, there are schools and colleges for which there is no need to be harassed for commuting.

  1. Life in villages is very simple. Population growth is very low in villages. People live in villages from birth till they grow up but later leave village for study and/or business or some other family needs. In that case, the number of people in the village decreases. Very few people live in villages.

On the other hand, in cities, schools, trade, industries, factories, more people live in cities than in villages to improve the standard of living. Because of this, the population of the city is more than the village. And because of the carbon dioxide and various types of harmful chemicals from the industrial factories in the city, people are sicker than before.

What area did you grow up in and why?

I was born and brought up in a village house. My father and grandfather's house in the village. Since all my family live there, I also stayed in the village with my family. I grew up in the natural beauty of the village. All the school madrasas I studied in my village since my childhood. I lived in my village till adulthood. But every girl has to go to her father-in-law's house after marriage, so I also have to live in my father-in-law's house after marriage which is far away from our village. No one can ever forget the memories of growing up in that area.

If you were told to go to an area where you didn't grow up, would you?

It was very difficult and scary for me when I was growing up to move from my home area to another area. I grew up close to my family so it would have been difficult for me to fit in anywhere else. But after growing up, I have learned to understand that even if it is for good, I can do it even if it is for good. Shifting from the same place on occasion for business or family. If any such situation arises in my case, I will definitely accept it.

Are there things in the area where you grew up that other areas don't have?

As I said before I grew up in a rural environment. Green plants or natural surroundings are very hard to find in cities. Every area has something that is famous for that area and is not easily found or seen anywhere else. But in the area where I grew up there are some skilled artisans who use their skills to make some food and cloth which you can't find the taste or beauty of anywhere else. My village home is in Tangail. That is, Tangail has sarees and Tangail sweets, which you won't find anywhere else. It is famous only for our area. Village has rivers, canals, paths, fields which you will not find in city. As I grew up in rural environment, I love and respect rural environment work life.

One thing that God has really blessed humanity with, is the gift of nature. I can imagine this world, without the beauty of nature. It would be very dull.

From your thumbnail i figured out that you lived and currently lives in a rural area. But I wasn't fully sure, but now I'm sure after going through your post. I clearly understand your reasons why you like the rural areas because ifbthe natural, plants, trees, and many more. The rural areas are always calm and peaceful, but in few places of the world unfortunately.

Well, we all have our reasons for why we choose the urban areas or the rural areas. We hrew yo in different places, si Going out from where we were born is not bad because we need to explore the world and find things to sustain ourselves.

Bangladesh is a very beautiful country...

THANKS for sharing and good luck with the challenge.....

Hello dear friend, You have described both your city and village in very beautiful words. You are right. The village people play an important role in the country, while the city people play an important role in the development of the country. It is because of the village people that food grains are available to the country get fresh air, life gets pause. I enjoyed reading your post. Good luck for the engagement.
