Good day my Steemian family, I hope we are doing well in our places of endeavors. I am very delighted to participate in this contest to show how my mother is very important to me. Thank you Steem4nigeria for bringing this contest theme to my notice.

In your understanding, who is considered a mother, and what are the duties of a mother?

In my understanding, a mother is the female parent of a child. A woman can also be considered a mother to a child if she is the one who gave birth to the child, or if she is responsible for raising that child, whether the child is her biological child or not.

DUTIES OF A MOTHER
Below are the duties of a mother:

A mother prays and blesses her children to have a good future.

A mother cooks and serves good food to the child/children and her husband.

A mother makes sure the home is kept clean.

A mother provides clean clothing to her child/children.

A mother teaches, encourages, and plays with her child/ children.

What are some of the sacrifices that mothers make for their children?

Some of the sacrifices include:

Mother sacrificed her sleep to pray for her children.

A mother sacrifices working full time so that she can have time for her child/children.

A mother sacrifices her resources both materially and financially to ensure her child/children is okay

How does a mother's love shape a person's character and development?

Mother's love experiences, values, and teachings shape our perspectives and help us develop into individuals of character and integrity. A mother's love empowers us to face challenges head-on, to persevere in the face of adversity, and to believe in ourselves even when the world doubts us.

How can we celebrate and show appreciation for our mothers and their love?

We can celebrate and show appreciation to our mothers for their love by:

Through our prayers. Mothers go through a lot, we need to pray for God to bless them in every area of their lives.

We can show our appreciation to them by obeying them so that they will be happy.

spending time with our mothers and showing them how much we care about them.

Going on a walk with them during the evening or simply spending time talking and reminding them about the beautiful past, so that they can feel special and loved.
