The responsibility and roles of youth in community development and nation building

Hello everyone good morning to everyone here in this great community I am @samuelebuka. I will like to discuss on some of the roles young people (the youth) should play in community development or even nation building. I hope you find time to read through and also put to work what we would be discussing, as your community depends on you as much as you depend on her.

WHO IS A YOUTH
According to the English dictionary a youth or youth can be defined or said to be,
The part of life following childhood; the period of existence preceding maturity or age; the whole early part of life, from childhood, or, sometimes, from infancy to adulthood.
In our society today one is said to be an adult if he or she clocks 18years of age, and as such a sense of responsibility and urgency may down on you and sometimes even peer pressure as to what you want to become in life, what and what should one venture in to earn a living and lots more. As much as all those are important we are to put in mind that we have a responsibility to give back to our local community and also contribute in it's development in other to create a more conducive environment for our children at large. Some of this responsibilities are discussed below in my best and simple possible term below.

SOME BASIC ROLES OF THE YOUTH IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Some basic roles of youth in community development include, to renew refresh and sometimes even to maintain the current status of our local community and even upgrade the level of technology and science knowledge to the community at large as science and technology is one of the greatest way to bring about development in any aspect of life. They are so to appreciate the works of the past leaders who were was young and who worked effectively in the society before them, and also to mentor and teach the young who will be coming before them.

The youths are also expected to protect, reproduce and even grow the society on the aspect of it's norms and morality and even the customs and traditions of the community or nation at large. But in doing this the youth also need guidance and mentorship of the older people in other to achieve this goals.
The youth is also expected to be a voice an envoy to the community even at national level in other to create a new community for the future to come And also observe their delegations to the community some which are
1: to vote during elections
2: to maintain law and order
3: not to abuse the right to live
4: not be involved in any form of illegal active or fraud
5: not destroying public property
6: and also give a helping hand in community sanitization and cleanness and sanity of our local environment

CONCLUSION

In conclusion,we can see that we have a great role to play on our community development as we participate in the above fully, in no doubt our community will be a better place for us experiencially and also more conducive for our future,and children.
I hope I am able to share some light in our minds and to this great family the importance of youths in our society.
