Storytime With Prisca 1 (Victor the little hero)

Introduction

Hello oo who's on the telephone? Is your favorite steemian Prisca and am starting my storytime program in steemit today, have decided to start it in this awesome community and I hope the program is welcomed.

Am a writer and my storybook label name is Destination tales have been a writer right from when I was 9. Straight to the point, today's story is titled Victor the little hero written by me in 2021. The story begins now.

Victor the little hero

Once upon a time there lived a young boy know as Victor who lives with his parents in a small village known as Nziwa. Victor has a younger sister who's 9 years and he's 13, they don't go to school because there's no school surrounding in their community. Young boys and girls help their parents in doing house chores and farmwork.

One day Victor and his father were returning from the farm and encountered the Prince of the community and hid escorts. They greeted him traditionally and the Prince blessed Victor and thanked his father his greeting.

When they got home, they met Victor's sister Favour and the mother of the house preparing lunch. After a while, lunch was served and they all ate. This was how Victor's family continued living their lives in happiness and joy, the community remained peaceful.

One fateful day, Victor was with his friends. They were uprooting cassava at Victor's uncle's farm when they heard the sound of a gong. They all kept quiet to listen to what the town crier has to say;

My fellow villagers, the igwe of this community has an announcement to make, I was sent by him to deliver this announcement to all of you. There is a strange animal close to the bush path by the stream, please no one is allowed to go to that particular stream or walk around that bush path which is very dangerous. We should only fetch water from other streams but not Igban-1 stream. The community is in great danger and no one is safe. We are advised to stay in our houses to prevent downfalls. That's all I have to say

Suddenly Victor's uncle ran out from his house which is close to his farm and then he ordered Victor and his friends to run home, he wanted them to be safe.Victor went home and saw his parents and Favour looking worried, he was became surprised.

Why are your faces like this? Victor ask them.

We have been worried about you. I was about to go to your uncle's place to find you but you are here already. Thank God you are safe Victor's father replied.

No need to worry mama and papa, am a hunter's son so am not scared of anything, not even that strange animal Victor said fearlessly and they all laughed.

Weeks later, Victor's family were running out of foodstuffs, so Victor's father decided to go to the farm to harvest some crops, Victor said he wants to go with him but his father disagreed.

Conclusion

This story is a short fiction story and I hope you guys enjoyed this part one of it. I will conclude the story in the part 2 of this program in other to avoid too much words in one post. If you guys want me to finish one story in just one post I will do start doing it without hesitation.
