My Neighborhood Watch #26 - Reporting Events Around us

How are you doing? I have come again to participate in this wonderful contest in steem4nigeria community. This contest is extremely interesting and lively as it gives us the opportunity to access our neighborhood and also inform steemians here about the current situation of our neighborhood. Special thanks to sir @xkool24 for organizing this contest.

My neighborhood is a dry land

I will be taking about the land of my neighborhood today. You Andi know that we are currently approaching the dry season in Nigeria and harmattan has already arrived and it shows itself most especially in the morning. This year the wet season was too long as rain was still falling excessively even in the month of October.

Am glad the rain has stopped falling for now as it hasn't fall for more than 2 weeks here in Portharcourt and am quite happy about that because the schedule of my movements are always successful. The reason I said so is because rain always distract my movement. I will plan to leave the house by 2pm and a very heavy rain will fall, thereby making me stay back with no choice.

I noticed that the lands or environment in my neighborhood is currently very dry, I am very excited about i but the reason I don't like it is because of the high amount of dusts which makes my black slippers turn to ash color🤣. I was strolling to get something in pipeline when I decided to take pictures of the area I was passing. Everywhere is currently very dry.

The bushes are now cut down as dry season is the best period to cut down a very big and large amount of weed. The project just finished two days ago as the land is very big and long, is where pipelines are, they are deep under the ground that's why everyone were told not to build anything on that land Incase of explosion and others.

The area is called pipeline because of those pipes underground. I really love the fact that the area is always busy and also quite. Everywhere is now dry and I love the way it looks. I can remember how everywhere used to be filled with water as if is a swampy area. Water will be found beneath the bushes all the time which creates homes for mosquitoes and frogs.

I still hope that the dry season lasts for a very long time and I will keep on taking pictures of my neighborhood and updating you guys through this contest as long as this contest still exists. Pipeline is a wonderful place I can never forget, the road is very long and deep and is the longest land I have ever seen before. Thanks for reading friends.
