My Neighborhood Watch #2
Introduction
Happy Sunday friends, how was mass/service today? Mine was great as I served the second mass this morning. The heavy rain in my neighborhood made our church to be scanty because so many people weren't able to enter the rain and come to church. Most persons that came are owners of cars who carried their cars to church with their family.
My country is currently facing issues with fuel and this has made the price of things go very high. Life has been difficult and everybody is unhappy. My topic today is about keeping yourself happy even as you face hard times.
Happy men
My country is currently in an unhappy state whereby so many people aren't enjoying life anymore again. The death rate in my country is increasing day by day and this has affected the population of Nigeria.
Despite all these struggles, the men in my church decided to wash out their pains and sorrows by playing football every Saturday morning. These men doesn't want to remember the current state of the country that's why they've come together to do something that will make them forget.
Is not easy to be a family man in my country as you will have lots of billings on your head since the price of things are very high. These men played the football in my church compound and they played according to their groups. We have:
- St.John the Baptist group
- St. Francis group
- St Peter's group
- St Joseph's group
- St Jude's group
The Catholic Men Organization (CMO) has five groups in my church and it wasn't all the men that came for the football yesterday.
Is not that these men are poor and jobless that's why they are playing football, they are rich men who sacrificed time for work since most of them are self-employed and some are CEO in their working place, they decided to skip work in the morning since they have various workers.
They came to church with their cars and parked it at place close to the field. I took pictures of their car roll so that I can post it here today. After playing the football, they drank energy drinks and discussed for a while before they drove their cars home to rest and do other things of their choice.
Conclusion
The football these men played happily, will really help them alot as their body will become more healthy and their minds refreshed. I hope you guys are making yourselves happy in this hard times. Special thanks to @xkool24 for creating this contest.
