Introduction

Hi steemians, it is a nice opportunity participating in this contest, I will be sharing my own view on the topic aggression.

Meaning of aggression

Aggression which is also known as assault, force, pugnacity and also infringement can be seen as a particular type of behavior that is aimed to harm someone either physically, emotionally or mentally.

It is also a particular type of behavior that is intended to destroy or cause damage to a property.

Widespread of aggression among the youths in my area

Is it more prevalent among the youths in your area.

Yes, I see most youths in my area putting such act almost all the time. Some of the youths in my area will be seen bullying people's children, some will even be fighting themselves for something that's not even reasonable. Even in social media platforms today, you will see some sending threatening messages to people and this is really bad.

Sometimes I will be thinking is because of the way this country Nigeria is, that is making them behave in such ways, but I discovered that even youths in some countries also behave in an aggressive way most times. This has really spread all over the world.

Causes of aggression

Of course we know everything that happens has a reason or cause why is happening or happened. The following are the various caused of aggression :

✓ Mental disorder, which was caused by abuse of drugs mosts times and ends up resulting in aggression.

✓ Death of a loved one or peer pressure, which can lead to stress and results in aggression.

✓ Timidity, most teenagers are shy, nervous and also low self esteemed and they use aggression to hide this behavior of theirs.

✓ Peer pressure, most times when teenagers who are interested in joining an association with their peers, they get rejected from them and this pain makes them aggressive.

Effects of aggression

Too much act of behavior of aggression may turn to a habit to someone and the following are it's effect:

✓ Physical injury which may occur through reckless behaviors.

✓ Separation which may occur between couples is one of them is always aggressive, they might get divorced.

✓ Ruined relationships between two close friends

✓ Most persons who are aggressive might end up in jail because of their lack of moral behaviors.

Solutions of aggression

I thank God this harmful practice called "aggression" has a solution. The following are solutions of aggression.

✓ Parents should monitor their children strictly and know what they are passing through at this early stage of life.

✓ If a person has been diagnosed of mental disorder, the person should seek complete medication immediately.

✓ Stress management is a great solution to this, individuals who are going through stress frequently should try to do things that will reduce stress.

✓ Stable relationship with friends is a great way to end aggression, the victim should try to form a close relationship between 3 or more people.
