The Diary Game: My day in the market and working hard online(23rd Nov,2023)

Hello friends

Today I would like to share my diary with you all. It was a hectic day for me and I know you would like to know why right?

This morning, the sound of my phone alarm woke me up as early as 5am. I stretched out my hands and switched it off because I felt I needed more sleep. I didn't sleep well and I can't say if it was mosquitoes or something else but I know something disrupted my sleep to an extent.

I finally woke up by 6:30am, with a song of Thanksgiving. In prayers, I appreciated God for life, did a little study of my bible and my daily devotional book. All these lasted for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

After my prayers I went straight to the room for some house chores and took out the clothes that I washed the previous day that wasn't dried. I logged into my steemit account to check for notifications. Today is my duty day in steemladies community so I checked how many unverified post where available.

I got hungry and remembered the food in the house finished last night so I needed to go to the market to get some food items so we can cook soup. My friend who visited, helped my make a list of the items needed to cook the soup.

I had my bath and got dressed ready to leave to the market. I took a bike and straight ahead we headed. Guess what? This guy got half way to the market and said that the highest he can go, he said I would have to walk down to the market. I was so upset but what else can I do?

I got down from his bike and walked down to the market since the market wasn't that far any more. I was lucky the sun wasn't that hash by then.

I finally got to the market, I brought out my list to see the items I need so I searched for the shop to get it. First on my list was egusi (melon seed), this Is very important since I want to make the soup. I got to the shop to buy, I asked how much and she told me a cup cost 600 naira( 3 steem). I had no choice than to buy only one cup of it.

I also bought crayfish, and some vegetables from her and waited for her to ground the crayfish and melon seed together. Then I paid for the items and left.

Next I went to where I would buy the meat. I wanted to buy goat meat. I asked the seller for the price and it was just to expensive for me to buy so I left. I searched for those selling cow meat.

Finally I found a man selling cow meat and I went to him to buy. Although it was still expensive but it was much better than buying the goat meat. Maybe next time I would buy exactly what I want but for now, I will manage. I bought the meat and moved on.

On my way out, I saw a man selling sugar cane and since it's been a while I ate sugar can I decided to patronize him. I stopped and asked for the price and got some for myself and my friend who was at home. I took a bike from there and went home.

I got home and after resting for a while, my friend decided to cook the food. While she was cooking, I logged into my steemit account and began to verify posts in steemladies community. It was so much fun reading and grading posts.

Food was ready and it was time to eat. My friend cooked egusi (melon seed) soup and eba. So delicious. I enjoyed my food and rested for a while before i continued working online on posts verification.

I took a break to attend to some guests I had over in the house, and it took a long while before they left. The weather was not friendly anymore so I quickly went back to my phone so that I can finish up before I begin to have network issues.

I was so carried away with work that when I checked the time, it was already 8pm. I stopped working and decided to pen down my diary post for today before going to bed.
