Personal Opinion about the movie the message and the messenger

This movie is a very impactful movie that I would love you all to see. The message and the messenger is actually not a Nigerian movie but rather an African American movie.

The movie the message and the messenger has a very powerful story line. The movie is practically about the life of a Christian lady who is single and her relationship with her family and God.

In this movie, we see her pastor who is into prosperity preaching compelling the members of his church to always give for the expansion of the work. All he cared about was that his members give always but wasn't really concerned if they were really growing or doing well.

We also see this Christian lady starting a new business, just because she heard that the business is lucrative. She is faced to pay for rent of the business place or continue to sleep with her landlord who happens to be her ex boyfriend, not only that, she also has bills to pay like salary of her younger sister who works as her secretary.

Her sister is married with kids and her husband is out of job,they are left to struggle and depend on what's comes their way.

We also see in this movie the misplacement of priorities and wrong teaching. Pastor kept teaching on giving and confession not balancing it with his members getting a job or working.

This is the situation of many so called Christians. They feel that just by believing all things begins to work. Wait am not saying that believe or faith doesn't work, but I feel you need a channel through which the blessings you believe for will come to you. So after believing go and get something doing.

My Personal Rating about the movie the message and the messenger

Oh I so much love this movie. Aside the story line and actors. The quality of the movie is one to talk about.

This is actually the first African American movie am highlighting in Movie highlight. And guess what? Am so happy I did. I leant so much from this movie and I think you will too if only you can have the opportunity to see it.

I love the costumes, picture quality, sound and music and location. It was worth my time. Therefore my rate for this movie will be 10/10.
