My country is a country flanked by two continents and two oceans, the largest country and with a population ranked fourth in the world with various languages and cultures and various religions, namely the country Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia or the country of Indonesia. Yes... Indonesia is the country where I currently live. In my country there are various cultures, languages and various religions.
Currently, our official language is Indonesian, and with more than 700 regional languages from many ethnic groups.
Indonesian is the language we use throughout Indonesia. If we adapt outside the area (where we live) we always use Indonesian.

Talking about language, Indonesian is often used here because Indonesian is the national language, the official language, everyone understands and understands what is being said.
But I personally often speak Acehnese with my family, relatives and friends and even the people in the area where I live.
For other regional languages such as Batak language, Javanese language and Minang Kabau language, I understand a little about the meaning but I cannot communicate fluently like the speaker.
I am familiar with this language because some of my family married partners who came from outside our area (Aceh).

As an Indonesian citizen, it is clear that Indonesian is a language that makes it easier for us to communicate with each other because not everyone understands our regional language. And at home I speak Acehnese to make it easier and understand the meaning of the pronunciation.
Yes, and it's true that when we master many languages it can help us in getting a job, such as speaking Indonesian and English correctly according to grammar, making it easy for everyone to communicate and negotiate.

Yes. I will teach my child Indonesian and our regional language so that he can easily communicate with the person he is talking to. Not only the national language, from an early age I tried to teach English and Arabic to my child, so that when he grows up, he will understand a little and understand the vocabulary easily. Because currently English is a world language, a global language that makes it easier for us to find work.

I'm glad or know the geographical location as you shared that your country is flanked by 2 seas, 2 continent and is in the heart of them. It is a country with about 700 languages but you are familiar with Acehnese which is used mostly in the country. I'm glad you shared with us that you would teach your children this language to help them preserve the language and take it down to other generation. Indonesia es un país donde existen una gran variedad de lenguas, pertenecientes a las diversas tribus. Conocer varios de ellos sin dudas es importante para la comunicación y la interacción con los demás ciudadanos.

Language is surely an important element of Culture. The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has an important language too. That language is Indonesia. The truth is mastering other languages can make you an elite in the art of communication. Also teaching your children your native language always helps a lot. Good luck on your post.
