Hello everyone, good evening to you all, hope your day all went as planned? Welcome back to my blog. In this edition of neighborhood watch, I'm reporting directly from NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ikot Itie Udung Nsit Atai Local Government Area Akwaibom State.

National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp

On the 19th day of June I reported to Camp and it has been a hive of activities here in the Orientation Camp. This program has given me the opportunity to speak and interact with people from different walks of life. Like I wrote earlier on, the Camp is a hive of activities which is fun and frustrating at the same time. Imagined wearing white and white and dressing like school children and living under someone's command and also having to obey rules and regulations.

We usually wake up around 4.00am in the hostel prepare and leave the hostel for morning meditation followed by the speech from the Camp director, exercise as directed by the man'O war officers, morning lectures and then breakfast. After breakfast, we usually come back for SAED Lectures which starts from 9am and ends by 2pm in the afternoon and we go for Lunch and after Lunch we're giving an hour break before heading to the field for parade and sports. The sports ranges from Football, Volleyball competition between different platoons.

Platoons is usually referred to as groups to which Corps members belong to. At 6pm, the biggle is sounded because here, Nigeria sleeps by 6pm and wakes up by 6am in the morning. In the evening, from 8pm to 9.40pm in the evening comes the social night which ranges from different activities such as drama and dance from different tribes. We usually go to bed by 10 pm and that is often our lights out. Sunday is the only free day in the Orientation Camp because we're allowed to rest until 2pm in the afternoon.

Rainy Season

Currently it's rainy season which usually starts from April and ends in October. Here in Akwaibom State, it rains literally everyday. The season comes with extremely coldness, and because of this, we wear protective covering literally everyday. I have come to the ending of my report and I invite my friends @wisdom123, @blessesbee and @bessie2023 to participate in this contest.

It a nice experience to integrate with others, knowing their culture and also adapt to their environment.
I could remember when I was on this shoes.
More enjoyment my dear.
