The love of a mother, an affection so strong is an unconditional love all mother's willingly give to their children with all their hearts.

IN YOUR UNDERSTANDING, WHO IS CONSIDERED A MOTHER, AND WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A MOTHER?

A mother is a woman who gives birth to achild, loves, care and support such child till he/she reaches the age where they can fend for themselves. Most people basically see someone as a mother when you have given birth to your own child. but there is more to it than that.

Being a mother, not only means giving birth to your own child. But rather entails, grooming, and caring for that child till they become of age to take care of themselves To be a mother is a lot of responsibilities. One which many people try to run from. The burden of caring entirely for another human being can be a lot to bear sometimes, and that is why tha father is also important in the raising of a child.


Some of the duties and responsibilities of a mother includes;

• She ensures all their needs are provided
• She provides emotional support for the children
• She grooms and train up the child to be responsible individuals in a society.
• She gives advice to her children to some areas of life depending the situation.
• She keeps an eye on and protect her children from malicious people. etc.

The duties and responsibilities of a mother her endless. But in all, her unconditional love towards her children is forever there.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE SACRIFICES THAT MOTHERS MAKE FOR THEIR CHILDREN?

A mother's love is not to be played with. This love is so strong that they are forever willing to sacrifice anything for the betterment of their children. Being someone's child and having experienced the love of a mother, I can say from experience that mothers are ever ready to sacrifice anything for their children's well being.

Some of the sacrifices a mother can make for her child includes;

• She can sacrifice her life for her child. Probably in a case of severe illness and something from her is needed to save her child. A mother will willingly sacrifice it for her child even if it kills her.

• A mother can also sacrifice her time and attention and devote it to her children. In some cases, you see career women resign from their jobs when they put to birth. This is a sacrifice they make in order to have more time to spend and take proper care of their children.

• A mother will wholeheartedly sacrifice the little she has for her child. Even if it's her food, property or whatsoever. She willingly sacrifices them if it will help her children.

HOW DOES A MOTHER'S LOVE SHAPE A PERSON'S CHARACTER AND DEVELOPMENT?

When a child grows up experiencing the unconditional love and care of a mother. The child will definitely be groomed and trained up in the right way. No one wants a bad egg. All mother's will definitely want to train their children right so they don't end up like the tauots on the streest. The truth is that, noother that loves their child would want to see them ending up in a bad way. So out of motherly love, children will be groomed in such a manner that they will develop strong characters and moral principles .

HOW CAN WE CELEBRATE AND SHOW APPRECIATION FOR OUR MOTHERS AND THIER LOVE?

Some ways we can appreciate our mothers for their unconditional love and care they have shown us over the years includes;

• Gifting them something special. Something very unique that they love and will forever remember.

• Praying for them. Sometimes the best thing we can do for the people will love, is to pray for them and hope that they end up well.

• Taking them out. You can decide to take them out to thier favourite place or restaurant. Or go shopping with them. Somethimg that will make them feel happy .

• Prepare a special meal for them. If you don't have the finances to take them out or you prefer it indoors. You can decide to prepare thier favourite food you know they will love.
  
  
  All these are some way we can make our mothers feel appreciated and loved for all thier sacrifices and efforts for us
