Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I am also well because of the infinite mercy of God. Once again, I come to you to participate in this amazing topic of the third week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. Through today's challenge, I will share with you about Security Matters.
In your own words what do you understand by the word security
Security is one of our basic rights. We all want security. By security I mean the necessary measures taken to keep ourselves safe from any dangerous, unwanted situation.
We feel safe only when we have security. As a family person I always want to have the best security in my surroundings. Be it at home or outside, at work or in the market, it is very important to ensure the safety of you and your family.
In your country, in what ways has the government been able to keep the citizens safe?
The government of our country has adopted various timely measures to ensure the safety of the citizens. Sometimes anarchy is created due to which common people have to make sacrifices for it. But our government takes necessary strong steps before an anarchic situation gets complicated so that common citizens do not have to suffer.
Our government provides 24 hours security and emergency services for citizens. If a citizen is in danger, he can contact the nearest police station by dialing 999 and our police force will reach the spot immediately. Moreover, security forces are deployed in all the areas after certain ranges to ensure the safety of the citizens 24 hours a day or night.

Personally, what do you do for yourself or your family to be safe in your town or country?
I am a family person and our family is like any other normal family who prioritize safety above all else. Even if I compromise on everything else, I am most concerned about the safety of the family.
I always try to maintain a good relationship with people around me in my city, I try to interact with people as needed. And we have different types of people in my city and I don't know what's hidden in them so it can be unsafe for us to interact with anyone more than necessary. So I take care of these things.
We men bring all the things that women need in our family and when they have to go to the city for some important work, I go with them for security.
My father and I finish all the work and come home before evening and no one in our house stays out till late night. And if someone in the family is out for work purpose, I always keep in touch with them by phone.
Have you experienced or heard of any case of insecurity (robbery or kidnap)? What happened?
Yes, I have heard of my relative being robbed. An uncle of mine was going to his workplace after withdrawing money from the bank. While he was waiting for the car on the road, a micro van came and kidnapped him. The callers took him to a secluded place outside the city and took away all his money and mobile phone.
The robbers hurt his body a lot. Although he filed a case in this matter at the nearest police station, but no trace of the dacoits was found. From then on our family members are given more guide to be careful.

What do you think is the best way to keep a home secure?
It is very important to keep the house we live in secure, so we must take the necessary steps for its safety. I think the best way is to install a CC camera in the house. It can monitor the movement of people coming to the house, and if there is suspicion about someone, their movement can be observed.
At home we may face various dangerous situations so necessary numbers such as police, security forces should be kept in collection. We should keep strong enough locks on the entry and exit ways of our home.
If there is an outsider in the family like an employee or a worker for a long period of time, then sufficient information should be collected about him because many times the owner is harmed by the employees.

Security and safety is the basic right of every person. Everyone is to be free in life. He should be saved from any danger or harm by the government or state. It's the fundamental right of him.
One has full right so he can save himself if he sees threat to his life. So keeping your house, family and yourself safe is the wise decision. I am very glad to be a Philippine citizen. Here you can feel yourself completely free.

Actually, this is not in India, or for that matter in Asia alone but it's a universal problem although in a few countries, much better security is provided by their governments. The main reason for all these problems is the increasing problem.
