Assalamu Alaikum

My respect and love to every admin and moderator of my beloved "Steem4Nigeria". I want to start my post by thanking respected admin Sir @benton3 before participating in this beautiful contest. This is a great opportunity to improve our drawing skills. Let's show how creative you are in today's contest:- Drawing - Cockroach.

Drawing materials

• A4 size White paper
• 2b Pencil
• Color Pencil – Brown, black and Yellow
• Black marker Pen

How I drew cockroach

First I drew the shape of the prothorax of the cockroach. Draw two antennas. Then I drew its eyes and I drew its body shape and after that I drew its two front legs. Then I drew four more legs on both sides of its body. Then I marked it with a marker.

Next I drew some spots inside its body. And inside it, I colored it with brown color. After coloring with brown color I filled it with yellow color. Like the picture below.

Then I highlighted the inside of its body with a black color pencil as shown in the image below.

I really dislike cockroaches. If I see a cockroach in my house, I can't rest until I get it out. I read some information on Google. I mentioned it here.

Cockroaches are among the most primitive living insects, dating back over 320 years.

Although cockroaches are generally disliked by humans, they are important members of the ecosystem in which they live. Like other insects, they play an important role in food webs and nutrient cycling.

Ensign wasps, for example, are parasitoid wasps that prey on cockroach eggs as food for their larvae. Many frogs, lizards, birds, and small mammals also depend on cockroaches for their diet.
