Hi guys how is your day going I hope it's fine, today I will be taking part in an amazing contest organized by @fredquantum in the steem4nigeria community with the theme learn with steem.

So in my entry today I will be sharing with you guys the step by step method used in plastering a building and I really do hope that you all will learn a lot from it.

As humans we all need shelter one way or the other so as to sleep in and be comfortable, which leads us to our topic for today which is plastering, in our community today we have a lot of beautiful houses built by different people.

So building and constructing a house with blocks or bricks 🧱 in other for it to look beautiful and nice it needs to be plastered so that the surface of the wall becomes smooth and fine, so first of all we are going to know what plastering is.

PLASTERING

This can be defined as the process of covering rough wall during construction of houses and other structures.

So after the building or structures might have been constructed successfully and is all set to be plastered the first thing you will need is as follows.

•STEP 1•

In the first step all you will need is to gather or buy plastering sand one or two trips depending on how large or big the building is.

•STEP 2•

In the second step you will need to measure the plastering sand, for one bag of cement you will need to measure two and a half plastering sand on a wheel barrow and gather them one place.

•STEP 3•

And in the third step you will need to mix the sand with the cement to mix properly and then apply at least three or four bucket 🪣 of 20 liters feel with water and mix it properly.

•STEP 4•

After you might have finished mixing, it will become muddy and sticky in nature then you will pack some and put in an head pan to start plastering. And you will use a hand trowel to scup and plaster it on the wall and after and once that is done it's texture will be rough and without level.

•STEP 5•

In this step in other to make the surface of the wall to be smooth you will need a long bar that is straight which will be used to scrup the wall to level it.

•STEP 6•

This is one of the most important step when it comes to plastering of walls in this after you might have finished scrubbing it to have the same level, you will need some water to sprinkle it on the wall and a stone rob and a hand trowel to rob through the wall and make it smooth and shiny.

•STEP 7•

And in this step which is the last step as you can see in the picture above after you might have finished robbing the wall with stone 🪨 rob and hand trowel you can decide to make some designs on it to make it beautiful and attractive.
