Creative Nigerians : Creating Something out of Nothing.

Good day Nigerians! I thank God for the gift of a country like ours and for the many many endowment He has bestowed on us as a Nation. I want to thank God for the gift of life and for the many endowment he has deposited in the lives of many people in this nation.

Truely Nigerians are creative people, the only reason they are not noticed is because the things they exert their creativity on are things that are not easily noticed.

I decided to go and pay my sister a visit after a long time of being away from my state, I went to her shop which is located at Nsukka in Enugu State. When I got to the shop where she sells Egg and pig feed,

I saw something that made me understand that creative is not just limited to being literate, but creative is simply making something out of nothing.

She sell eggs in creates, and earlier that day she had a customer who came to buy one create of egg, she brought a bread carton to package the egg for the customer and she realized that the carton was too big for what she wants to package. It was at this point that the pressure of looking for something to package the egg brought out of her a hidden skill. And out that one carton she made two cartons from it and had a proper packaging for her product.

She did what I refers to as cut and join, she divided the carton into two and used another carton to cover the opening from the cut.

I equally met some group of guys in Jalingo that does water distribution business, but one of the challenge they face in their business is the time it takes to turn the water out of their gallons into their customers gallon. And this challenge brought out their creative genius.

They made holes in the body of the gallons to allow easy offload of the water for the salvation of time..

Nigerians are naturally creative and if they calm down, they can turn nothing into something. When traveling you will see how the people that help the driver to load his car would creatively compress as many bags as possible into their boot.
