I must commend that the weekly "learn with steem contest" organized by our country Rep has been an interesting and educative one. It is focused on expanding our knowledge of different areas of study.

For this week, @fredquantum has organized a lovely topic under the iTeach contest titled Weekly Learn with Steem Contest.

Python Turtle Module is the perfect place, as It's a fun and easy way to get acquainted with the basics of coding, and you don't need any prior coding experience to get started.

I had previously organized some lectures about coding with Python Turtle Module, but I didn't continue due to my busy schedule. Nevertheless, I would continue my class very soon.
Follow this article, as I would be giving you a guide on what to expect in my next coding classes.

What Is The Python Turtle Module?

The Python Turtle Module is a library that allows users to create simple graphics and animations using the Python programming language. It is built on top of the popular Tkinter GUI framework, which makes it an ideal tool for creating user interfaces for graphical programs.

This module provides a simple way for beginners to learn coding by drawing shapes and lines using basic commands. With the help of this module, even non-programmers can quickly become acquainted with the basics of computer programming.

The Turtle Module allows users to draw shapes, text, and other objects with just a few lines of code. Additionally, this library also offers a range of commands that enable users to create complex graphics and animations. From basic circles and lines to complex fractals and 3D designs, the possibilities are truly endless.

How To Use The Python Turtle Module

It provides an easy-to-use and interactive environment to create basic graphics using the Python programming language. To begin using the Python Turtle Module, you need to first install it on your computer.

Once installed, you can open up the Python Turtle shell and type in commands to start creating basic graphics. The turtle object is the foundation of this module, and it is what you will use to create your projects.

To move the turtle, you can use the basic commands forward(), backward(), left(), and right(). These commands will move the turtle in their respective directions by a certain number of pixels.

You can also change the color of the turtle with the color() command and set the width of the lines it draws with the width() command.

In addition to basic commands, there are more advanced commands available as well. For example, you can draw circles and rectangles with the circle() and rectangle() commands respectively. You can also fill in shapes using the fill color () command.

The Python Turtle Module is a great way to get started with coding, as it is both easy to use and fun. With some practice, you can start creating amazing projects with this versatile tool.

Examples of code using the Python Turtle Module

The Python Turtle Module provides a great way to learn coding and computer programming. With the Turtle Module, users can create interactive shapes, patterns, and animations using a few simple lines of code, like this example of the Captain America shield below.

Most movie lovers here should be familiar with actors and legends of the marvel universe, like Superman, Hulk Captain America, and lots more.

  • Importing your turtle is always the first and most important steps to take, and you can do this by Typing import turtle. You can equally increase the turtle speed and radius by adding a digit of your desire.

  • As we popularly know, the shield of Captain America is red, white, and blue, respectively in a circular manner. I then biggest circle giving it a size of 250 and the color red.

Followed by the second largest circle, giving it a size of 210 and the color white.

Lastly, I designed the smallest circle giving it a size of 130, and with the color blue.

  • For the star design in the middle, I gave my turtle the instruction to move within a range in the center, having the color white. I was then done with my design.

You can see from the gif below, our code is designing the program.

Conclusion

The Python Turtle Module is a great way to get started with coding. It provides an interactive environment where you can learn the basics of coding in an easy-to-use graphical interface.

With the Python Turtle Module, you can use commands to draw shapes, create colorful patterns, and even animate your creations. This module is perfect for beginners who are just getting started in coding, as well as experienced programmers who want to brush up on their skills.

I would be coming back with better and more interesting designs for us, so stay tuned friends.

Am inviting @soylola3091, @noelisdc, @cryptobitcoins, @sir-charles-jude, and @daprado1999. to check out this contest.
