What do you understand by the word Quit?

Quit is an act of an already done process on a particular thing. There are things in life that we see ourselves quitting from them because of the sufferrings and challenges. Quit means leaving a particular thing it could be a job, a relationship and even marriage because I have seen people leaving their marriages.

Alot of people quit their jobs for one reason or the other and most times we try to know why a person will leave or quit from such a good job but every action comes with reasons. I have quit from a job before and immediately I quitted I felt so happy and excited but I later regretted.

Have you ever been on the verge of quitting/giving up before? What were the challenges?

After my Mock examnation, I decided to take a rest from school because of my siblings. I decided to help my mother to support the family. I went to a woman for a job when I saw the notice that a sales girl is needed here.

I went further to start the job because she really needed a worker so quickly. On starting that job everything was fine and moving well but after 2 days of working, the woman started giving me attitude and she always complain of no markets, I should use my IQ and drag customers to her shop.

I was fade up with everything but whenever I turn to look at my mother I was just telling myself I can do it. The challenges was there but I had to gather my mind and everything to keep doing it.

How did you overcome the challenges, (practical steps would be much appreciated) and how did you feel afterward?

Well, I was facing a lot as I have mentioned earlier but I overcome it by telling myself "I can do it" when you are in any challenge you do not need a man to tell you what to do, you own yourself so tell and encourage yourself by yourself.

In that shop where I was working, the woman was so frustrating so on a faithful day, I decided not to come to work and when she called I told her I don't want to work again. She kept calling and calling I insisted but remember all of these was completely a test on her.

She started begging me to come back because it is very difficult to get anybody good like me that would do the job faithfully the way I do. I first of all smiled and of course gave her my conditions too because I obviously saw how she desperately want me. Sometimes, testing, taking and standing on your decision especially when you are deligently working well for such boses is another way of overcoming your challenges.

What's your advice for those in your shoes?

My candit advice to my fellow steemians is that; endurance and patience is the life itself and any other thing falls at the back of these two factors I have mentioned above.

There is no challenge that kill, I mean I have never seen any challenge that killed someone so quickly, if you are facing challenges, stand up and do something about it. Quiting is not the best option to the problem, you need to stand firm and work in that particular thing that has been a challenge.
