Greetings friends on Steem 4 Nigeria community, it's great to write again in this contest organised by @steem4nigeria. It is always pleasant to me to be making my post in this community.

What are the mistakes you think you have made since you were born?

Life is basically full of ups and downs, errors and corrections. As humans we often make mistakes on daily basis. Some mistakes are minor and can be overlooked while some are very fatal and may course a lot of regrets which may last for life. I believe that every mistakes can be corrected in life. The ones that seems as though they cannot be corrected depends on the individual that made the mistake. Once you are determined in your mind to correct any mistake that was made it can be very possible to achieve it. Some mistakes that can never be corrected, we will have to deal with it in our entire life.

Just like every other humans I am not different. I have made a lot of mistakes in life since I was born. Some of the mistakes I have made are fatal and has been very painful each time I remember it, I will have to bear the consequences and bare the cost for life. But thank the God of a second chance that some of my mistakes can be corrected through a second chance of life. Correction is a permanent thing in life as long as mistakes exists, You must be ready to subject to the correction that what ever mistakes you may have made may require.

In my life ever since I was born I have made the mistake of financial mismanagement. I have invested into so many wrong and unfruitful investments that I have wasted my money. Those investment has affected me badly. This was due to financial illiteracy. I thought I had good knowledge of financial literacy and that I was rather preparing myself for high earnings and income, yet they were all wrong investments. I wish I had known all that I have learned now before now I would have had a better understanding on what investment I should have made.

Whether you believe it or not investing in a physical business that you manage by your self is better than any online investment that may appear very juicy and enticing. I equally do not believe in buying of shares because my bank shares that I bought some years back in 2008 are not appreciating but rather depreciating.

Do you think it is your past mistakes that are affecting your growth in life?

Yes I believe that my past mistakes are affecting my growth in life. This is because I have ended up loosing all my life savings to those online businesses and investments I had put in my money into hoping to gain more. I am now struggling to earn a living through a menial job I am doing. Meanwhile if I had used my money to open a physical business for myself and stay put to manage the business I would have been a boss of my own and rather employing people to work for me. All the same I am happy that I made those mistakes because I have learnt my lessons though in a hard way. I can now boldly direct and correct someone from making the same mistakes. Mistakes are supposed to make us better and stronger.

Do you always blame people or yourself for making mistakes, as no one can be perfect?

Whenever I make mistakes and realized it was a mistake, I quickly own up to that mistake immediately. The worse mistake in life is to apportioned blame to people instead of taking responsibility for your mistakes. I take responsibility for my mistakes and then sit back to analyze the process that led to the mistake and think of a possible solution and how I should come out of the mistakes and make amends. That is the way forward in life.

6. Learn to let go of the past
7. Be determined to make corrections
