Friends, hope you all are happy and healthy. A very good contest has been announced by Nigeria, which I have not seen on steemit yet. We share our feelings through words through written or spoken medium, we know it as language. We all know this process of speaking by one person and listening by another person as communication. We all are from different countries and we all have different languages. Language is used for communication. Every human being has to use language through his society. If I live in India, I should use the language that Indian people understand, otherwise my speech has no meaning. That is why language has great importance in the world of communication.

Friends, I live in India and the specialty of our India is unity in diversity. Unity in diversity means that we have an environment full of diversity. We have many religions here like Hinduism .Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Adivasi,Sarnaism, Bon, Animism, Kirat Mundhum, Donyi-Polo, Jainism, Baháʼí Faith, Zoroastrianism, and Judaism. Kashmir is the topmost city of India and the kanyakumari is last city of India. So from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari, more than 700 plus languages are spoken. India is the country speaking the most languages in the world. That is why it is said that India is a country of diversity. There are people living different lifestyles in every area of India. From clothes to face and from head to toe, everyone's body style is different. Similarly, there are different languages in different states, cities and villages of India. Out of these 700 languages, 23 languages like Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri , English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Marathi, Meitei, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu ,Urdu have been included in the Constitution of India.

Hindi is our national language and in our family we communicate in Hindi language only. Since childhood, I communicate in Hindi language at home and Hindi language is a language which is used all over India. Even if an illiterate person wants to communicate, he will communicate in Hindi only. From Kashmir to Kanya Hamari, everyone knows Hindi. So I am mostly comfortable in Hindi language only. After Hindi language, I like Gujarati language more because I live in Gujarat state of India.

The state of Gujarat is also named after the language spoken here, Gujarati. My education till Bachelor's degree has been in Gujarati language only and I am doing effective communication with Gujarati language also. Business is widespread in Gujarat and people here have settled in different countries due to business in Gujarat. That's why Gujarati language is spreading further in the world.

Urdu language is considered to be the daughter of Hindi language because Urdu language was born from the mixture of Arabic, Iranian Afghani and Hindi languages. Urdu language was one of the most spoken languages in India in the 14th century. I was taught Urdu language during my Islamic education and because of this I can communicate in Urdu also.

Gujarati language is the local language here and Hindi is the national language here. While living here, I can comfortably communicate in Gujarati language but Hindi is the national language which is prevalent throughout India. So whenever I go out of Gujarat, I use Hindi language. Because maybe no one understands Gujarati but everyone understands Hindi language. So, Hindi language is a very important language for us which is liked by people of every class and every religion.

If we want to have effective communication then we should know about that language ourselves. I will definitely teach this language to my children because if the children do not understand the language then they will not be able to understand at all what the speaker is saying. Gujarati, Hindi and English are spoken by everyone in India, so I will definitely teach these languages to my children. If children want to have a good and better communication then they should know the language being used in communication. Therefore, I will definitely teach these languages to children.

This interesting, and you're the first entry I've read from India

With over 700 languages and diverse ethnicity and religion. Ouh my God 🙏 that's so massive.

It's pretty well how you've uncovered the history and rich norms of your country.

As stated from you that language is indeed a critical tool for communication and it must be understood before it's relevant.
So when language isn't understood by any to aid communication then it's useless.

Very unique content I love it.

Thanks 🙏 for this knowledge
