Growing up, this is all that we've been doing each and every day and am so glad to share it with everyone on steem. Making a bread is actually fantastic. It's has been in my family for more than three decades now. You know....the secret to making a sumptuous bread is to first get the right ingredients and secondly, to get the quantities accurate.

We bake all sorts of breads, being it tea bread, sugar bread, butter bread, wheat bread, brown bread and the likes....just name it. People from various places comes to purchase our product in bulk and so, we bake the bread in a large quantity.
Now....to bake a bread, you'll need to get the following ingredients ready for the journey. This include;

  1. Flour
  2. Margarine/Butter
  3. Vanilla/Pineapple flavouring essence
  4. Nutmeg
  5. Sugar
  6. Salt
  7. Yeast
  8. Milk(purposely for butter breads but optional for all)
  9. Cocoa powder(for brown breads only)
  10. Wheat (for wheat breads only) and
  11. Water
Below are the pictures of some of the needed ingredients.

To talk of the precedure to follow in making a bread, it's so simple. First, you'll need to gather all the necessary ingredients stated above depending on the kind of bread you're making. When making just a small quantity, one must have a mixing bowl in which the mixing will be done. With those who are into large scale production, there's a mixing pot machine to do the mixing all at once. You'll first measure the right quantity of flour, then add the butter, sugar, salt, yeast, nutmeg, flavour essence and water(making sure that the water is added in bits by bits).

After adding these ingredients one after the other, you have to knead it very well to generate the gluten which gives it the startchy appearance. With the manual making of bread, the kneading is done till you attain a fine - smooth texture but when using the machine for large scale production, there's a roller machine to knead it after mixing with the pot machine. As soon as you attain the appropriate texture, then, the mixture is now ready for moulding.

The kneaded bread is now cut into the required sizes and moulding is nicely done. Always have it in mind, that the moulding needs to be done as fast as possible in order to avoid any interruption with the yeast mechanism because it's the role of the yeast to increase the size of the bread more than the original size in which it was first moulded.

Good timing is also important. Once you moulded the bread and arrange it in it various tins, you have to time it in order to know when it's actually ready for baking. As soon as, it's ready, you bake it.

Care must be taken from the start of the process to the end of it. Moreover, most people think that because there are so many kinds of breads, there are some ingredients that has to be omitted but no...that is not it. What actually makes them different is their specific ingredients that has been stated above. For instance, wheat bread requires the addition of wheat and same goes with the brown bread (cocoa powder). With butter bread, sugar bread and tea bread, the actual difference is that, butter bread requires more addition of butter/margarine whiles sugar bread lots of sugar and tea bread having average quantity of sugar, butter and salt.

Literally, that's all that you need to know about bread making. It's my hope and prayer that this content helps all readers to be able to make tasty breads both at home and at work whether small quantity or in a large scale production. Thank you.😊🙏🏾
