My suggestions for the Steemit Development Incentive Program

Hello friends. It is great to be with you all once more. I am happy with the developmental strides of this great platform. Going through the steemitblog, I found out request were made for proposals from programmers and suggestions were asked from users.

I have some wonderful suggestions, which I can give for the improvement of the platform.

They are:-

The utility of a coin matters a lot and determines to a great extent it's acceptability. For now I will say that steem earning from staking and curation rewards makes it appetizing and catchy. But can we make its price move swiftly like some other blockchain tokens? The answer is yes.

We can create more use cases for steem coin which will enhance the image of steemit Inc. Can we create an NFT section in steemit, where nft can be traded by steemians only with steem coin and if possible bridge it to other CEX and DEX platforms. This will help the platform to grow too. We have the numbers in steemit that can make it happen.

The nfts can also be staked just like SPs, to earn more rewards while waiting to be sold off. We can design it in such a way that nfts unsold can be converted to steem coin at a rate that will benefit the platform. With this most nft owners will know there entire funds will not be stuck on the unsold nfts. This is one of the major problems of most nft holders in several CEX and DEX platforms.

The trading can be added in the wallet just like we exchange steem and SBD.

Gaming has become a market on its own in the crypto world. Introduction of gaming in Steemit can go a long way in making the platform more stable.

Gaming involves having investors who just buy the characters, those that are there to play(players), and the exchange of winning prizes into steem coin (trading part) too. All these will attract more people and investors into the steemit ecosystem.

Recently, we have seen power downs coming from communities. These communities were created by individual users and before it grew to this level have put in so much to be recognized by steemit team. Thus when they are in need for cash to solve exigencies, they power down.

I would suggest that to avert that scenario, the the steemit team should create community accounts on the platform, select it's admins and moderators (make it open for those qualified to apply), while stating the incentives for them, like they did with the curators. This will go a long way to curb power downs as we have experienced in the past.

Steemit is a robust platform that can attain to any height. The points mentioned above can help make it an all inclusive platform. If you can not blog, you can do nft or play the game aspect.

All of these will help make it to be more stable, more decentralized and a home for all.
