SEC S15W4: "Broken Trust"
Lately I can say that trust are easily broken compared to our forefathers days, As at that time people can trust thier landed properties at ease without the issue of distrust, but when we look around today we can see friends killing themselves because of broken trust. Why is it so?
What do you think the word trust means?
To me trust means being open minded with someone believing the person will not hurt or cheat on you. It can also be a way of relying on some for being honest.
Presently in your country, do the citizens feel safe to trust one another? If not why? And if yes why?
Trust is a personal thing I can't generalize if the citizens In my country can feel safe to trust one another. But mere seeing how things are going I can partially say No, .
So many people in my country has found joy in betraying their follow human with or without reward just to make sure they see you sad. Alot has been depressed due to broken trust whereby the person you trusted with all your heart will turn against you for no just cause.
All these has being the order of the day which can be an indication of citizens not trusting one another.
Jealousy is another common scenario that is leading some citizens in my country to have distrust among one another.
Have you had any experience where your trust in someone was broken? Or such a scenario from a Friend?
I can't vividly remember my own experience now, but my friend is suffering from a distrust scenario, how did it happened?
Her boyfriend of 4years , she has been with this guy right from secondary school days though they weren't serious then untill their university days when everything started like is going to end well, so this girl was so faithful to the guy rejecting all the men coming for her hand in marriage.
Could you believe that this guy nicodemously travelled out of the country without the girl's consent and news carried it that he is married with another girl. When my friend heard the news she couldn't believe her ears. Uptill now the girl has refused to let go. The level of trust she had on the guy was broken.
Can you suggest ways to mend broken trust?
Amending a broken trust will be like patching a a torn cloth , it can never be like the formal. Just like eating your cake and begging to have it back . It's not always possible.
Let's consider this few suggestions that seems to be a way out.
Time. Time is important in the cause of amending broken trust, there's need for the person to heal from the shock. Maybe with time there will be room for amendments.
Apologizes. If a trust is broken for there to be an amendment there must be a sincere apologies. If this is done then trust can be amended.
To conclude on this subject matter, let's learn to have a forgiving heart whenever our trust is broken, giving a listening ear to the offender is another way to amend a broken trust. Is very and that the guy travelled from the country without letting the faithful girl know and he made it worse by marrying another girl.
If I see a girl like that in the next 6 years I will be very happy. Trust is very important and when is broken is hard to get it back. I'm wishing you good luck in this contest.

I am impressed by your post that in the days of ancestors, trust was stronger, in today's times trust is broken very easily, nowadays trust is broken the most due to love of money, if any number comes after that then it is jealousy. They become so crazy in jealousy that while doing bad things to others, they also do bad things to themselves.
