Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 29: Happy New Year!
Happy New year to my beautiful steemians how are you doing? 2023 have come and gone with it's ups and downs. And now we are in the year 2024 praise be to God who have made it possible for us all.
A lot of things happen last year which I wouldn't like or want to mention or talk about it rather focus on the present which is 2024. Join me as I attend to the questions below.
What are your favourite New Year traditions or customs?
My favorite new year tradition or customs is attending the church which we call cross over night. During this time a lot of people are in church singing and dancing praising God for making it possible for us to see the new year.
And this happen from 10 pm or depending on on the hour till the next day being the first day of the year. And once it 12 am people will be shouting happy New year. and every where will be full of celebration, people will be playing songs of joy for cross over to the new year.
After that night, in the morning people will be busy cooking food for their family.
Do you have any special resolutions or goals for the upcoming year?
Yes. Every one who understands that this world is not a bed of 🌹 rose supposed to set goals for his or her self every year because of the way things are.
In this year I have set many goals for myself which I'm praying for God to make all to come out successful. And one of the most important goals I set for myself this year is to improve massively in my steemit. And I pray God to help me in Jesus name amen.
How do you celebrate New Year's Eve? Any unique or memorable experiences to share?
Nothing much. it was as usual apart from traveling to the village to visit my loves and normal 🍚 rice and stew and drink.
How do you feel about the concept of "New Year, New Me"? Is it something you embrace or find overrated?
It's something I embrace very well. Because as new year come up you supposed to research your self anything you know that you are not doing right and needed correction it's all left for you to try correct it.
Some time I use to tell people that you can lie to someone else but you can not lie to yourself because within you, you know the truth unless you are a type that doesn't like your self.
So new year new me is something embrace.
What do you wish for yourself and others in the coming year?
Long life and prosperity is my wish to myself and every one in steemit and global at Lage.
Crossing over to another year is a thing of joy and happiness to us and I pray as God has made it possible for us we all will rejoice this year in Jesus name amen.

Well written friend, goals set cannot be achieve without been in good health. Embracing the year with Joy gives a good sign that the year will not be like the past year.
