THE GENESIS

I woke up today saying prayers to the almighty God for life sustenance, and to be frank, I felt some level of agility not like the previous days when I felt reluctance in standing up because I had a stressful day and wished it was a weekend, actually this day was like a weekend for me since I had no place to go to, if I am to be in school, it will be later in the day, maybe in the evening. so I made my plans, my first plan was to wash some of my clothes, I have worn them for weeks now and each time I plan to dry clean them many things come up, the second was to cook something that can quench hunger and the third was to write a post on Steemit then relax for the day or continue steeming on.

So I went to buy WAW detergent, It is one popular detergent in Nigeria known for foaming easily, I collected some of the clothes I am to wash from my dirt basket and even some of them that pretended to be clean on the wardrobe as the got ignited by the radiation from my fluorescent bulb, this is the only day I have to keep my cloth clean and I am not in for any pretence, so I pulled them down from the robe to screen them thoroughly. I fetched some out and they were about to be cleaned by me, you can call me a dry cleaner if you wish….

COOKING PLAN

So I did all the washing and I was done, could you imagine I didn't eat early because my mind was set on completing this task(washing), cooking was part of the plan though I planned to cook something like soup that we give my stomach soldiers peace I couldn't because I needed something to whirl away the present hunger and Indomie noodles was the closest option, I feel this is no more an option but a routine as the university is not giving me time but from next week, I will have to schedule my activities.

I dwell in an area with almost a constant supply of electricity and it has been a long time since I refilled my gas, the 1 kilogram I filled some months ago has not finished yet, electricity was still on so I had to use my electric stove, Indomie preparation is very simple except you want to make it too rich by adding condiments like egg and tomatoes, it's nice to add them but I didn't have all the funds to afford them so I go simple. Electric stove or gas, which one do you think can cook food faster? The electric stove has taught me patience. The kind of patience I develop these days by waiting for multiple minutes just to get my food ready is unlike me. To be honest, if you have little patience don't think of using this to cook when hunger is striking but I did because I had no choice.

After cooking I sat down quietly to eat my Indomie with Akara (bean cake) which I bought in the morning and forgot to take since I was washing, this was a very good combination. I finished the dish and drank a cup of water to make it settle.

THE CALL

IMG_20240521_163656_475.jpg

It was time to step on and I was busy selecting the contest to participate in. This week's engagement challenge seems a little bit challenging and I feel that that's the way it should be, since it's a challenge, the topic was mind-blowing and I hope to participate soon. So while selecting posts to write on, something happened I received a call that the posting letters for students that were to go on teaching practice were distributed and that I should come and get mine, It was impromptu but the good thing is that the university is close to my lounge but I choose to pay my way down since I needed this letter to report to my place of primary assignment the following day.

THE TOUR

I stood for some hours and unfortunately, my school of primary assignment was not among them, meaning that it was ready, what a stress, a waste of transport fare, and time. I met with some of my coursemates and took some shots and also a selfie with some, I used this opportunity to go on a tour and for the first time in 3 years of schooling and staying in your city, I decided to climb the walk-over bridge, I am afraid of height and though the walk over the bridge had all it takes to prevent you from falling I felt the bridge was vibrating, it is a surprise that I am feeling this way for this same bridge that is see people dancing on top, Actually people are different and that's me for you.

Most of the things I did today weren't planned but that was how God saw it to be even though I didn't, so I used the opportunity wisely, I took some pictures of the town from there and then I met with one Steemian friends @uduak3287, he gave me some amazing shot, which I will be using to create some content here on Steemit. I am so happy that the unplanned was not a bad incident.

At this juncture, I decided to take my leave. I boarded a tricycle and off I went back home to take some rest. It ended well

Waking up from my siesta to know that a new list is out, wasn't the bargain and checking the list I found out I was made a group leader unlike the last one, where I was the assistant group leader. I was so confused but I needed to stand up to duties and got to school under the rain to get the posting letter.

Your day was worth documenting.
