One of the main stays of the steemit platform are the communities. These communities are created by individuals, a group of persons or by the steemit team itself. They have given this platform its beauty, different ideas and philosophy.

One of these communities is the @steem4nigeria. This contest is going to take us back to how it all started and what can be done to improve the community. The topic is Meeting With the Steem4Nigeria Community Management.

How well do you know about the community @steem4nigeria? How did you get to know the community? What do you know the community for?

@steem4nigeria came into existence two years ago. It was formed by 6 unselfish great steemians who thought about having a community that will represent the interest of Nigerians in totality. A community that will prove to be a haven for all Nigerians and friends from other countries.

I was privileged to be among its initiators and to know the members of the management team. Right from the first day it was born, I was privy to its creation. No one told me about it. It came into existence when there was no particular community that houses the whole Nigerian steemians as at that time though one was for promotion and was regarded as a community created by a Nigerian rather than a Nigerian community.

Because of the diversity in tribes and languages, the founders came from different backgrounds and tribes as well.

The community is known for its inclusiveness. By that I mean, all steemians are welcomed in the community irrespective of your race, colour, nationality or tribe. This is evidenced by the fact that within a week, of its creation, it had more than 100 subscribers. These subscribers were not from Nigeria but from other countries. That was simply amazing and awesome. since then. The community have been growing in leaps and bonds.

So far, has the management of this community been doing what you expected?

I will say yes for sure. The community management have been on top of their game since its creation. Despite the language diversity of the management, they have continued to work in unison, making worthwhile decisions that affects the community positively.

Even when intense situations arose, they were able to manage the situation and kept moving forward. They have accommodated steemians from other countries which confirms their inclusive nature. Even the entries we have in the community testifies to this fact.

So the management have been doing well in managing the community.

As a community, no one management member owns it and that is why, even when some management members went down the lane in terms of power down due to their personal reasons, it didn't affect the community. The community continues to thrive.

Do you have any recommendations, suggestions, or ideas for the steem4nigeria community on how best to grow the community to the next level? If NO, highlight our strengths & how to consolidate them?

I think so far, they have done their best in managing the community so far. They have been fair in using the communities resources in supporting everyone. Even the booming support they have is being used in a fair manna. Steemians from other countries are beneficiaries of it too.

So I expect them to consolidate on these positive parts as a community.

Another area that I want to commend them on is effort in helping fledgling countrymen steemians. They created a WhatsApp learning group for Nigerians, organizes trainings from time to time, answers questions dropped randomly by newbies. This initiative have gone a long way in assisting Nigerian newbies on the steemit platform.

The Mods are also working hard to ensure the community's performance is at top notch. They make sure that plagiarism is chased far away from the community.

So I believe if they should maintain these solid performances, the community will continue to grow in leaps and bonds.

I will suggest that there should be a promotional/meetup contests from time to time because it helps to spread the news about steem in our various localities while meetups helps to form great friendships. If the community should take the lead in hosting these 2, it will improve community's strength.

I will also like to see a situation where the cultures of our dear country are being showcased in terms of food and other cultural heritage. It is done in form of contests, then it will go a long way.

How can you show appreciation and support for these good works done by the steem4nigeria community and her management in the steemit platform.

👉There are several ways that I can do so. One way is by commending the community and its management for job weldone. Commendation is a good way of appreciating someone's goodness.

👉Another way is by delegating some steem power to them. This will enable the community to give more support to those writing in their community. I have done so already. But when I accumulate more steempower, I will increase my delegation for sure.

👉I can also set the community as a beneficiary to my rewards. At least 10% when accumulated can go a long way in the long run.

👉I can also assist newbies on individual basis, to reduce the burden or level of work the management do, so that they can have time for other administrative matters.

Conclusion

@steem4nigeria community is one of the best communities you can think of. The management work tirelessly to ensure things works as planned. I am ready to give my best to the community whenever I am called upon to do so.

I will like @mesola @drhira @yancar @m-fdo and @pelon53 to take part. here

¡Holaaa amiga!😊
