#LIFE During elections ##

How many of us were part of Saturday's election. I mean you actually voted and didn't use the day to sleep, have fun or do chores. ## what we think about elections and governance ## This is because some people went to church to pray about a better Nigeria, some did vigils and also tarry; while a great number went to the mountain. Different religion took the elections to different dimensions while there were some that their religion forbade from voting but they keep crying about poor governance. Or those that sit at home claiming elections is already done by the cabals and executives in the government and their votes would not count.

Election day

So on Saturday having spent my Friday at Inec office, I used two sachet of water to bath and be set before day time. At about 9am, the SPO for my ward came and had a brief introduction with us.. in the process, names were called and those absent were replaced. Then by 11:45, we began our journey to our different units.
We had thought it would be a hitch free but we had so many obstacles before getting to our unit which includes:

1. No cubicle for my ward.
2. Ballot papers were missing and needed tracing.
3. Ballot boxes were not enough and led to fight.
4. No vehicle to convey us to the venue.
5. No security given.
   This made us go late as we had to wait for a good Samaritan to take us there.
   Also when we got there late, after apologizing and promising quick response, we met another wall (username and password for the BVAS was invalid). That was when they village became restless and threatened to injured us thinking we are looking for ways to rig elections. Several calls were made to no avail and using Nigerian language... We can say we saw shege banza. Stay glued as I bring you more gist.
