Greetings my wonderful Steemians, i am delighted to be part of this contest and thanks to the organizer @ngoenyi for this great topic, today i will be talking about 5 wonderful things about Warri City.
My City is Warri, its located in the South-south part of Delta state Nigeria and warri is popularly Know for it's rare quality of creating their pidgin English which is the major language people use in communicating in warri.
CULTURE
Culture is the way of life of people, their behavior,art,food,language etc. In warri we have several tribes like the itsekiri, isoko, urhobo ,ijaw etc I will be talking about the itsekiri culture cause thats my tribe, itsekiri is controlled by a monarch called the OLU OF WARRI OGIAME ATUWATSE 111 OF WARRI KINGDOM also the OJOYE(chief) and the olgbotsere(Traditional prime minister)
We the itsekiri we are known for our uniqueness,like our dressing our cultural music,our dancing called the omoko dance
Itsekiri are closely related to the Yoruba of the South West of Nigeria,their speaking language have similarities and most likely Edo too.

FOOD
In warri our food are very nutritious and unique in nature and we have various food like igbagba fofo (okro pepper soup), Egusi pepper soup with starch, owo soup, Banga soup,goat meat pepper soup and yam , Banga rice etc
My favorite soup among all is the Banga soup and it is one of the warri best delicacy, it is a unique soup made with palm nut and assorted meat and fish, catfish etc.
Anytime you come warri nor forget to try Banga soup,chaii that soup dey burst brain especially with starch
Business
Warri people are industrious people both men and women, they hustle for their daily bread, you will never see a warri person without an handwork. Warri people are business minded and oriented and also execute their ideas with God helping them.
We have Entrepreneur majorly, buying and selling like petty trader and also private/government workers.
Early morning you will see our women rushing to the market especially if it market day (Effurun market majorly for okrika clothes) sand sand market (majorly for fish sellers)
Warri people are happy doing anything to make money like frying okara(beans cake), selling perishable goods, clothing, foodstuffs, fruits, roasted fish(barbecue) etc.
Any kind of trading is found in warri city.
Housing
Warri is known as oil well, they build mansions(well structured and furniture houses)
They literally spend money on housing.
House is a place for shelter so it ought to be beautiful but I must confess warri housing is extraordinarily beautiful and well furnitured.
Dressing
Warri dressing are unique and different base on the occasion, during traditional marriage the woman dresses with native blouse and their double wrappers with their plenty beads, double gele and traditional handfan,bag and shoe etc
While the men tie wrapper too with long bead and walking stick, shoe and cap. The most exciting thing about the dressing its the color combination and appearance 💯
Conclusion
Warri is a beautiful place and we have tourist center and industrial light etc.warri is a hub for petroleum activities and exporting.
I will encourage you to visit warri at anytime and testify of it goodness and the uniqueness of the people.

Wow, I have not been to warri but your description of the city has made it look as if I am there already. I love the fact that warri no dey carry last. Haha, they are really hard working. I will like to taste the Banga soup with starch ooo.
The dressing too is another attraction. The people in the picture are gorgeously dressed.
