DAILY LESSONS: The Secret to Getting What You Want

It is another wonderful moment. I welcome you back to my post. Have you read my previous article? If you have not, I encourage you to do so. In my previous post, I talked about "Do you really need everyone?" I exposed you to some important truths that you needed to know. I recall telling you not to force any relationship that you might not be able to manage.

The Secret to Getting What You Want

I was somewhere meditating, and I got this lesson I want to share with you. It blessed my life, and I believe it will do the same for you, too.

Do you know that there are lots of things that you don't need to pray for if you are growing? I want to open your eyes to why growth is important to your life. If people know the truth, their lives will change. But it has been discovered that the truth is being hidden from men. And if you really need to get more out of life, you must not play with the truth. I hope as you read this post, your eyes will be opened to the truth and you will make major adjustments where necessary.

A child who has not started walking rarely does anything by himself. He depends on her mother or anyone else taking care of him to access whatever he wants. But as he starts crawling, he also begins to access some things. It's easier to access whatever he wants when he starts walking, and much easier when he's mature and has gained strength.

A man who is not growing is like a baby who has not started walking. He doesn't have access to whatever he wants. He can't do anything by himself because he also depends on anybody who is walking and can access whatever he wants for him. Can you see why growth is so important?

Growth Makes You Have Access to Whatever You Want.

One of the things you need to know is that growth grants you access to things in life. Nobody has access to whatever he wants without growth. If he has access to it without growing, then either someone else has worked for that thing or someone else has really grown to possess that thing, and grace now makes him have access to it.

The truth is, some doors refuse to open because we don't match up with them in growth. Once you reach a certain stage, the doors will honor your growth level. Growth is the key that opens the door. Some doors will remain closed until you have what it takes to open them.

Growth Makes You Sit Amidst the Kings.

Some weeks ago, I read a story about a young man who said he came from a poor family. In the story he shared, he said how he struggled to go to school and how life has been very difficult for him. He eventually decided that he would not quit. He made sure he did everything possible to go to the university and have access to an education.

The guy later graduated from one of the best universities in the nation. After his graduation, he decided to continue his education, but there was no funding, so he applied for a scholarship. The funniest thing is that he only applied to one scholarship and got selected. As I write, he is at Harvard University pursuing his graduate degree. He didn't even dream of getting into Harvard, but because he has grown while at the university and has done a lot of things to add value to himself, Harvard could not deny him.

If you want people to deny you your rights, stop growing. Growth is a privilege that gives you access to your rights. The only platform you have to make kings see you is growth. When you take growth seriously, you will be recognized and invited to come dwell where kings dwell.

Growth makes you relevant.

I have never heard of a man who is consistently growing and remains irrelevant. The only way to remain relevant in your generation is to keep growing. Why do you think people keep listening to some people and want to always hear from them? It's because they are getting value from them. In other words, they are relevant. The only sure way I know a man can lose his relevance is to stop growing.

You can't joke with growth if you want to retain or keep your relevance. Remember, once you lose your relevance, you have lost your worth. The worth of a man is in how he is able to impact his world. And there's no impactful living if he's not relevant, and there's no relevance if he's not growing.

Make growth your friend; you can have access to whatever you want if you do.

Be intentional about growth; you have a ticket to sit amidst kings if you are.

Be deliberate about growth; you can never lose your relevance if you are.
