Marrying The Process

Many people give up today because they only want a result and not the process. Everyone who has succeeded in life has actually gone through a lot of processes. Nobody succeeds without going through one process or the other.

One of the things I have learned is to ask about the processes that bring about a particular result. The reason is that you learn more when you ask about the process than when you ask about the result alone. So many people fail to ask about the process because they are only interested in the result.

Nobody grows by asking about the result. You grow by asking about the process and learning from it. So, life isn't only about the result. There are things that were put in place before the result you are admiring came to be. Why not ask about the process, admire the process that can bring the result you want?

It's funny when you share something with people, and they start asking, "Can I also make it big like that person, like him, like her?" I thought the best question they were supposed to ask was, can I also do what he has done to get to where he's? Intelligent people are always interested in the process, not only in the result.

When you see intelligent people, they aren't only interested in the result, but they are always eager to know how the result came to be. They have been taught to always see the process and know the process because they can replicate the result if the process is known.

Are you the type of person who admires only the result? Admiring the result is not bad, but you need to admire the process, too, if you want the result. Some people want the result and hate the process. See, it's not done that way. If you want to see the result that successful people see, then you need to marry the process that produces it.

When you see people who hate the process, they're the types of people who are always jealous of people who are getting results. They will be envious of those who are progressing. The truth is, nobody hates the process and sees the result. You just have to admire the process to get the result you want.

Most of the time, in fact, all of the time, the processes that will produce the result you desire aren't easy. They are very difficult. Remember, if they are easy, many people will be willing to go through them. That's why not many people are committed to them, the processes that bring the result.

If you are committed to the process, please keep on keeping on. I know it may be tiring, but I want you to know that it will bring the result if you don't quit. And if you aren't yet committed to the process, you need to start now. Don't only admire the result; go start the process that will bring that result.
