DAILY LESSONS – Don't Miss this Blessing

Season's greetings. I welcome you again to my blog. The last time, I talked about the consequences of misconduct. I gave about three consequences that misconduct may bring. If you have not seen the post, I implore you to go read it. It's very powerful, and you will learn one or two things from the post.
That said, I want to share another important thing with you today. I believe it will greatly bless you, too. If you are standing, please find a seat and read it very well. But I am not going to take your time at all. Without further ado, let's start.
Don't Miss this Blessing.
What I am about to share with you came as a result of the experience I had when someone was trying to give some people a gift, but they thought it was ordinary and that it was too common. They didn't accept the gift and missed the blessing.
The point of this post is that sometimes people miss blessings just because the gift is common. If you don't want to miss a blessing, never think a gift is common or not costly.
A man decided to dash out a loaf of bread, and in the bread he put a thousand dollars ($1000). He intentionally did this because he knew that people would not want to accept the gift from him. The first person he approached embarrassed him and left him. When she was called to see what she had missed, she was disappointed that she wasn't patient enough to accept the gift.
The man approached the second person, but the second person did the same thing. He didn't collect the gift from him, saying that the bread was common and not something that should be given as a gift. That's how he, too, missed the blessing wrapped in a small gift.
The third person he approached really embarrassed him. She was slapping her even when the guy was begging her to accept the gift from his hand. She said, "Who told you I can't afford bread?" It amazed her when they opened the bread for her and saw that $1000 was put in the bread. She, too, missed the blessing.
The fourth person he approached was someone who was patient with him. Though she doesn't know the guy, she saw that he has a crew with a camera. Of course, in all the cases, for the first three people he met, the crew with the camera was with him. So, just as he did for the previous people, he told her to collect a loaf of bread as a Christmas gift. The lady laughed and asked who the guy was. The guy told her that he was an artist.
Though the gift seemed funny to her, she accepted it. The guy told her to open the gift and take a bite. The lady said, "Do you want to use me for rituals?" Let me get home; I will eat it. The guy said, "Okay, just open it and see what is in the bread." She opened the bread and saw $1000 in the bread. That is how the blessing came to her.
It's important to know that sometimes a little gift may carry a great blessing. We don't appreciate the little things, and we miss the blessing.
Don't think because it's common; sometimes common things may carry something great. It may not look like what you really wanted on the outside, but who knows? Maybe on the inside, it's the great blessing you want.
The fact that it's too cheap doesn't mean it shouldn't be appreciated. When someone gives you something little, appreciate it. When you appreciate little things, it is a sure way to receive something big.
