Hello Steem4Nigeria
Do you think money is really the root of all evil, or do you think it's more about how people use money that can lead to bad things happening?

Having money is nothing but having a resource in abundance. Abundance of any resource is never wrong and the root cause of evil . The actual reason for bad things is bad intentions , the desire of having more and more and more ,the desire of making things in the way one like , the desire of being scary and wanting others to be scared of you rather than respecting you , the never ending ego and the attitude of being supreme . This is what leads to evil , there are many people who are wealthy and humane .

Not all the crimes are in covetousness , some are because of lust , materialism , ego , jealousy and so on . Definitely, its about how people use their wealth. You can use what you have to be either constructive or destructive.

Can you think of any examples where money has actually done some good, like helping people in need or supporting good causes?

Yes there are so many . Here is one , Sonu Sood ( Indian actor ) . He is quite wealthy and offcourse why won't he be . The thing is that he always always uses his wealth to help others . During covid when people were stuck in some cities and due to lockdown , initially there was a time when every train .. every transportation stopped .
Some poor people were walking thousands of kilometers by foot to reach to their family. They were suffering. He then helped those people by providing several transportations so that they may reach their home town . He himself went in person ( he had contacts so who could stop him) and rescued some people.

There was once a poor girl who commented(through someone) on his Twitter post asking for education since she was poor and wanted to study but couldn't afford it . He saw her comment and reached her house bought her tablet , mobile , laptops , got her admission in school and took the full responsibility for her education until she become financially independent.
He always do things like this .. always. These are some of them.. just a little. I love him , he is great 🌼 🌸.

How do you personally see money in your own life? Do you think of it as a tool to achieve your goals and create opportunities, or do you have a different way of looking at it?

I see money as something really important in my life. I would never hesitate to create opportunities for myself on the basis of money if I can . But none of my statements mean that I would do cheating in race of my life or use it to hurt anyone . I would use it to protect myself and be happy . I will use it on myself and others ... would spend if that makes me happy , irrespective of the fact that seeing others happy also makes me happy in return .

Have you ever seen situations where people doing anything for money caused problems or made things unfair?

Yes it happens . Infact its quite common. Sometimes people aren't wrong while doing anything for money because maybe their needs aren't met and they really need it for survival. But definitely doing anything for money is not always wise because it often costs self-respect .

There is one uncle of mine who is very greedy when it comes to money , like super greedy . He always used to gamble for money. Gambling is not bad but too much of it and gambling as an addiction is horrible . This is what he did and lost all his wealth. He ended up in a very serious and worst situation leading his family to suffer too .so be control and play wisely .

Nice post dear, your uncle really decided to use his money for just gambling instead of sharing it with those who needs them urgently.

@moyeon, your reflection on the nature of wealth and its relationship to evil is thought-provoking. Your example of Sonu Sood's philanthropic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic illustrates how money can be used for immense good, transforming lives and providing hope to those in need. Your personal perspective on money as a tool for both personal fulfillment and altruism resonates deeply. However, you also acknowledge the darker side of money, highlighting instances where greed and addiction lead to destructive behavior. Thank you for sharing.
