Designed by pixellab
Warm greeting to my able steemians friends across the globe, I welcome you all to this week contest organized by @sahmie, I'm so excited to participate in it.
Knowing what greed is all about, what do you think is the difference between ambition and greed?
Greed is simply the act of not being contented with what you have, it can be a selfish desire and very destructive. It can also be the urge of trying to get more than what you need, like money, power, and wealth, it is associated with negative impact.
While
Ambition is defined as the strong determination and desire one has inorder to achieve success and this is usually associated positive impact in ones life and not destructive.
Can greed ever be a positive force or is it always destructive?
Greed can never have a positive force, it's always a destructive one, a greedy person will go extra miles in causing one harm inorder to achieve his selfish desire and if you have any greedy person around you, just be on a look-out for yourself if not the can destroy you just to get their evil heart desire done.
Greed is one of the deadly sin, it can leads to malicious behavior, such as gambling and theft, greed can destroy a soul of human like a sickness called cancer.
How does greed affect relationship and trust among people?
Greed can affect our relationship with people and make them not trust us anymore.
Greed is always associated with manipulation, a greedy person will always want to manipulate the other to succumb to their way so that their selfish needs can always be meet, this act can take away trust from the relationship you both share.
Greed can terminate or affect a relationship or friendship in many ways, the desire to have more than your friend can spark arguments and eventually leads to relationships breakdown.
Greedy people don't care about other people feelings, they do what's in their mind not minding how you will feel, the don't have any singular empathy for others . This alone can affect her relationship with others and kill the trust between them.
Do you think greed is a natural human instincts, or is it something that is learn?
Greed is one of the natural human instincts, humans are greedy in nature because they are not always satisfied or contented with what they have. It's an emotion that's with a driving force behind some of the happenings in our lives.
Greed is a natural instinct because you can't learn it but you feel it. It is a feeling which makes one think that's he's not ok with what he has.
Have you ever witness or experienced the negative effects of greed in your own life?
I think greed is programmed into our gene, as such I have experienced the negative effects of greed in my life. This emotions are always driven by unwanted desire for love and money and this feelings causes restlessness and anxiety.
Conclusion
Greed makes us to take decisions that will only be beneficial to us rather than those around us, I know we all strive for success and power but we shouldn't allow our pursuit for all these things blind us from what truly matter.
I invite my friends to participate in it
