Let show are creative we are-drawing of a crocodile. Congratulations to everyone who participate in the last week contest which was about drawing a Dog. Thanks you steem4nigeria for selecting my post as one of the winner in the contest, am so grateful.

Like I said we're drawing crocodile this week and am going to show steep by step on how I drew my crocodile, after drawing, i will list out interesting facts about crocodile.

♦️As usual, am using a pen to draw, and remember that, you can't erase a mistake with pen. so you have to do is to sketch your drawing of a crocodile first. I sketch it Starting from the head, the back, the tail and the legs.

♦️Now I have you structure of the crocodile, it's not compulsory to use sketching methods but I preferred it because I can easily correct any mistake I made. After sketching my the diagram, the next thing is to trace on the sketching I made. I draw the mouth, the eye, the body and the scales.

You can see that I have gotten the real picture of my drawing.

♦️My next step is shading or colour, remember am using a pen, so I can't colour, I shade. I begin shading it from the body down to the tail.

♦️The last part to shade is the head, after shading, I wrote my username and the name of my drawing.

♦️Perfect, it's ready. that's the little skill I have when it come to drawing. Now let's talk about interesting facts about crocodile.

All the animals have what makes them special and unique, for example when we were talking about Dog, i remember being loyal to their owner, use as security and to detect drug and so on. Now let's find out about crocodile, what's special about it.

• ♦️One thing about crocodile that you will find it interesting is that it has unique senses, an incredible hearing and sense of smell. They can hear prey from far away and even smell the blood of an injured animal in the water. They also h have strong jaws and powerful tails which heo them to swim faster and crush their prey.

• ♦️In other for crocodile to survive they need to be adaptable in the environment, as such, Crocodiles can live in freshwater and saltwater environments even to survive in harsh conditions. Also their life span varies up to 70 years.

• ♦️In terms of communication, crocodile use vocalizations like hisses, grunt and roars to communicate with each other. They also have ability to replace their tooth, which means can lose and regrow thousands of teeth throughout their lifetimle.This is incredible.

• ♦️Camouflage, endurance and reproduction: Crocodile is also good in hiding in plain sight. Their unique brownish-green coloration helps them blend into the murky water and sneak up on prey without being noticed. Another fact is that Crocodiles can conserve energy, and can go without food for months at a time. Crocodiles lay eggs and some species will guard their nests until the eggs hatch.

In conclusion, remember, the ability to adapt to harsh conditions, ability to regrowth their tooth, amazing senses, strong jaws and tail is what makes a crocodile a special animal.
