Assalamualaikum all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I'm fine too. I am Mohammad Kamran Hossain. After a long time today I am again participating in a DIY contest organized by @goodybest mam in the "Steem4Nigeria" community and today I have made a Paper Heart for today's contest. I thank @goodybest mam for organizing such a wonderful DIY contest. Anyway, now I am going to present you my Paper Heart.

Description of the craft I made

Basically for today's contest I have made Paper Heart with yellow color paper which looks like LOVE shape. A nice feature of the Paper Heart is its two arms on the front that can be pulled to make it bigger and smaller when squeezed. Moreover, I have drawn eyes, nose and face of Paper Heart which makes it more attractive. This morning I made this wonderful craft that looks great.

Materials for making paper craft

• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Red marker.
• Black marker.
• Green marker.
• Silver gel pen.
• Yellow colour paper.

Steps to make the craft

Step 1,

First take an A4 size yellow color paper and cut it with a ruler to 21:21 cm square with scissors. Also cut a thin long piece of paper measuring 29:2 cm.

Step 2,

Fold the square paper in half and fold it again into a triangle.

Step 3,

Then turn the paper over and make another triangular fold on the reverse side.

Step 4,

Now make a triangular fold again on the bottom of the triangular folded paper.

Step 5,

In the 4th step, fold the folded part of the folded paper upside down.

Step 6,

Now take the 29:2 cm long piece of paper and fold it.

Step 7,

Place the vertically folded piece of paper in a fold on top of the previously folded piece of paper.

Step 8,

Now place the remaining part of the upper part of the paper in the fold of the lower part of the paper.

Step 9,

In this step, turn the folded paper upside down and you will now see that it has a Heart or Love shape.

Step 10,

Finally in this step draw Love's eyes, mouth and nose with black marker. Write BIG HUG with green marker and paint some places above the left side of Love's eye with silver gel pen. Then draw two spots on both hands of the heart with a red marker.

How useful is the craft made?

The name of the craft I made in today's contest is paper heart which can be used for house decoration. If you make a paper heart of different colors and hang it in different places of the house with thin thread, it looks very good and increases the beauty of the house. Moreover, it can be used as a gift for loved ones or as a toy for children.
