My Neighborhood Watch #62 - Reporting Events Around us!!!

Hello amazing steemians.. greeetings to you all. Hope your day is going smoothly. I am @mbetobongluke from Nigeria it's my pleasure to join this contest and relate with you guys what's happening in my area. A big thanks to @xkool24 for organizing this contest.

Sharing with you guys is the incident that is currently happening here in Calabar itu high way.
It beat my imagination when I see things of such and what the government of the day really thinks there are doing when the neglect important and economic road of such.
This road had been in dilapidation for over 6 years. When it's time for election, politicians will come with their empty promises and use the road as a case study to gain / win the heart of the electorate by saying if voted into office, they will fixed the road.
The road remains one of the vital road that lingered/ connect 10 state in my country.

Government have never for once be serious over their manifesto.
Here a truck fall why trying to navigate his way out of the long rare water. Other truck never mind, the still go ahead to pile the road because this is the only accessible road that linked to where there are heading to. The road get worst when it comes to rainy season. Currently we are on rainy season and you can imagine what we're facing here in Calabar itu. it's happening live at Calabar itu road.
This road has taken so many people's life.
Hope government look inward and find solution to this road by fixing it.
I had to share the incident across my social media so it can reach government.

Away from that, going by the day I was transpired by what I see. The workers here where doing German floor using concrete and other designing equipment.

You can see how beautiful it's .
These got me fumed when I use to do this kind of work. Hope the owner/ engineer pay them well because the deserved a good pay.
