INTRODUCTION

Aggression is very rampant especially in a populace of mainly adults or youths. Various factors have contributed to the act of violence amongst them.
Indeed aggression is bad and it has mamy effects as to which it can posses and loss of lives and properties are also among. People can decide to be aggressive over little things and this is barbaric.

AGGRESSION DEFINED

Aggression is simply a behaviour that can cause intense harm to somebody or something. Usually it could be caused by provocation, hatred for someone or something, mental instability etc. They are usually lots of things that causes aggression and it cannot be overemphasized

CAUSES OF AGGRESSION

Aggression has many causes but ill be dropping 4 causes of aggression and their explanations.

1. DRUGS

Research has shown that youths who indulge in consumption of hard drugs at maximum quantity tend to loose their minds and get agitated at every slightest instance. We have seen this in many countries like India and some south American countries like Mexico, Jamaica and so on.
The hard drugs so consumed acts on the nervous system rendering it useless and the ability to reason is far from them. Thus aggression is inbound and it comes to play. Instances can be drawn where drug users start firing at a person because of little or no reason. They can also be seen in the American Society.

2. FEELING OF SUPERIORITY

Well as adults especially for the men, theyre is this feeling of superiority over the other gender. As a result they tend to consider the female gender to be of lesser importance and thus any slight provocation may cause problems and the aggression shown might result to damages or casualties.

3. POLITICS AND DIPLOMACY

Politics is meant to bring unity via diversity. But the ideology has changed a lot over the years. We can see the level of destruction and aggression shown in some countries like Nigeria where politics is termed a "dirty game", because of the level of bloodshed, fighting and lots more. Instead of politics being a source of unity people tend to flair up at the expression of other people political views and opinions.
We can also see the level of aggression shown when people play politics against another party. So in my point of view politics brings aggression.

4. RELIGION & BELIEFS

Anybidy that says religion and beliefs have not brought about aggression is a liar and at such should be termed one. Weve seen the number of casualties caused among inter-religious wars. All in the name of religion people are killing other people and it is bad.
Beliefs too brings about aggression.
Take for instance they're people who are called racist and imagine the hatred they have for people just because of skin colour. So aggression is very bad.

We see that aggression has been there right from time and it has been causing lots of effects of which ill make mention below.

EFFECTS OF AGGRESSION

I would clearly state that the only effect of aggression is that it leads to loss of life and properties through physical fights and so on. Since it is a behaviour that can lead to harm, its expression cannot be over emphasized.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

• Awareness on the effects of aggressions.

• Enacting laws to punish culprits who violet other peoples rights via aggression and steady fight against hard drugs

• Human right activist should come into play here by constant involvement in cases
