SEC WK2 : The language in my country

Hi i am Maryam Nadeem from Lahore #pakistan. Come once again to join an amazing contest which is the titel is The language in my country. Well we have many different types of people living here in Pakistan like Pathan and Peshawari Sindhi and almost we have many different languages ​​here but since I have regained consciousness I have been spoken in front of about three languages ​​and Speak up.

What is the name of your country? How many languages can be found in your country?

The name of my country is very beautiful and very respectfully we take it our country name is Pakistan and we have many different languages ​​spoken here in Pakistan but I would like to tell you about three languages ​​that are ours. It is spoken here because in my whole family we have only three languages ​​that we speak to each other and that is Urdu, English and Punjabi.

In our house, most of the elders talk to each other in Punjabi, but we were taught in Urdu from the beginning and many teachers also spoke to us in English. It is known about what we people often talk to each other and keep talking.

Among the listed languages in your country, how many are you familiar with?

I have told you the same thing before and in this question I would like to tell you again that since I have regained consciousness and I have become literate, I have always listened to almost three languages. I am educated and know only three languages. In our school, college, university, with children and with our teachers, we used to speak in English.

And when we were in our house, we used to talk in Urdu with our mother, father and our siblings, and let me also tell you that our elders use Punjabi among themselves because in the old days, Punjabi was used. This is why our elders use Punjabi, Punjabi language is also very popular in our Pakistan.

But here it happens that we speak only in Urdu and English to the children of our house because speaking Punjabi is not the habit of young children and they should not be taught, which creates wrong effects on the children's education.

How has this language improved/helped your life and business?

We use Punjabi language when our seniors do not understand, then we had to explain them in Punjabi language and we use English for our business because English speaking is considered an educated person.

That's why educated people are very important here and their jobs and business increase a lot, that's why English is considered a very good thing in our business and Urdu is also a very good thing because many people If they don't understand English, they have to explain in Urdu, that's why these languages ​​are very good for our business.

If our family had taught us only Punjabi and did not make us focus on English and Urdu, we would not have been able to set up our business today, and those who grew up would have deprived their children of Urdu and English. Many thanks to those who have taught us Punjabi English and Urdu all three languages ​​so that we can continue to use them and improve our business.

Are you willing to teach your children these languages? Yes/No. State your reason.

Yes, of course, I will definitely teach these three languages ​​to my children, but now my children are very young, so at home I must teach my children Urdu so that they can easily communicate with others, but in school they speak English.

Because I would like to make my children a great human being so that my children can also speak English with the people they grow up and develop a lot in their business.

Because these three languages ​​are very popular here in Pakistan, an English speaker proves to be a very educated person and an Urdu speaker is trained very well and Punjabi speakers should also be treated with respect because Punjabi is our language.

Our elders have taught us that we should speak these three languages ​​among ourselves and especially use English and Urdu for our good business so that we can progress and make Pakistan a better place.
