How to Convert Your SBD to Steem

You must have noticed this days that your post payout is in SBD which stands for Steem Based Dollars. And you have likely seen some old Steemians rejoicing over the return of SBD. Yes it's a good thing that SBD is back.
As at today, 1 SBD = 16.442 Steem.
And that is where this post comes in. How do you know how much Steem is in one SBD? How do I convert my SBD to Steem so I can power up?

What you will need.

To carryout the conversion, you will need the following:

• Some SBD in your Steemit wallet.

• You will also need your Active key.

• And you will have to follow this steps correctly.

The Process

Go to your Steemit wallet and login with your active key. This will grant you access to the features in your wallet.

With your wallet now activated, scroll down to the SBD section of the Steem wallet.

Select the drop arrow as indicated in the image above

Select Market from the menu.

At the market, you can either Buy Steem using SBD, which is in effect converting you SBD into Steem. Or you could Sell Steem which will help you convert your Steem in to SBD.

Converting SBD to Steem

Selecting A,B and C will instantaneously concert all your SBD in to Steem but you can use D to adjust the specific amount of SBD you want to convert.
selecting A accepts the current exchange rate. Selecting B inputs all the available SBD in your wallet. C gives the go.

Converting Steem to SBD

If you have some Steem but will love to save it as SBD, you can convert you Steem to SBD using the sell Steem section.

Conclusion

With this knowledge, you can now convert you SBD to Steem and vise versa, this could be necessary for a power up to maintain club status or other operations that requires this knowledge.
