Cross River State is located in the southeastern region of Nigeria. It is bordered by the states of Akwa Ibom to the west, Benue to the north, and Ebonyi to the northeast. To the south and east, it is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the countries of Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The state covers an area of approximately 20,156 square kilometers, and its capital and largest city is Calabar.
