Contest "Moonlight Tales ".

Introduction: Hello my fellow steemians, hope we are all fine, it a pleasure to participate in this contest Moonlight Tales, this topic make us really remember those days and brought back our memories and imagination of stories from granny, it used to be very interesting moment that captivated our attention and inspiring our minds when ever granny fixed the moonlight tales, the information would draw the attention of neighborhood children .

Granny, our grandma would first of all start with riddles each of us has to say our own riddle before proper moonlight tales, she will tell us what happened many years ago in frictions and real life stories but some were scary and some attractive with love and caring, the story about ancient war that killed so many people especially kids, she went on telling us about a woman named Maryslassor who stood up and defend children and their mother by opposing the killing of twins and ended it.
one of the most interesting moonlight tales was about what happened in animal kingdom that makes the tortoise shell to crack,it was a very interesting story.

She told us that in animal kingdom,all the animals were living together as one until the day where birds were invited for a party in the sky, tortoise heard the preparation and him being full of tricks began to think of how he would go to the party with the birds since he doesn't have wings , he decided to approach the birds so that they would allow him go with them, each accepted to donate him a feather , with this donation he was able to fly with the birds to the sky party.

On reaching the sky tortoise brought an idea of getting a new name unknown from others that him the tortoise wanted to be called and address as all of you,they all agreed, he then used the new name and allocated everything for him self because of that they choose to collect their feathers and fly back home hungry and angry.

Tortoise sent a message to his wife to bring out all the soft things in the house so that he can jump down from the sky with out danger, but the messenger angryly told his wife to bring out all the hard objects like guns, machetes and hoes , when all was ready, tortoise jumped from the sky and fell on the hard things and broke his shell in to pieces, it was a medicine man that helped to put all the shell together. That's why tortoise 's shell is not smooth.

Do you think it is wise to share tales with children?
The answer is yes because it helps them to know history and to know what happened in the past about their family, village and country. Tales is also fun for children to contribute new things to their memories.
