How do you explain Cesarean section (CS) to a layman understanding
Cesarean section is a safer way health practitioners uses in serving a month and is fetus life when complications arises. Not only when complication arise some people do not want to go through pains of labor giving birth vaginally so the opt for Cesarean section. Below are the reasons for a Cesarean section.
when a baby who is up to full team is in transverse position
-personal decision to avoid labor pains
-a prolonged labor or cervix taking too long to dialect.
-when the baby have overstayed the expected date for delivery (EDD)
With this reason the practitioner will not opt for a Cesarean section (CS) to save the life of the baby and the mom.
Do you think CS should be a choice/right or as a situation demand
I would say it should be as a situation demand because when complication arises and the practitioners see that the life of the baby and the mother is in danger and if not prevent they could lose either the mom all the baby in the process of trying to persevere in vaginal birth. In this case I think Cesarean section is the best option.
I have seen numerous cases in which the mom chooses Cesarean section even when there is no complication reason being that she do not want to stand the pain of going through labor for hours. So it could also be a matter of choice.
Is there any history or story about a believe of a woman who gave birth to CS in your country/community share with us
There are a lot of negative thoughts behind Cesarean some belief a woman undergoes Cesarean section has failed as a woman for not being to bring forth e life vaginally while some in steel fear in the pregnant mom saying Cesarean section is like a dead sentence. All these are false because Cesarean section has done nothing but safe so many lives that could have perished. This is the most wearing why you have to let your doctor guide you and not listening to what other people have to contribute.
What is your advice to that person who is refusing this process because of what people will say
I wouldn't want to decide for anyone but I will let that person know that having that beautiful scar and giving your child a privilege to live is better than letting what people will say make you lose the life you have nurtured for months and can even lose your life in the process there is no regret in the grave Cesarean section is not a dead sentence is alive server.
Will your support your sister, and wife to choose CS in case of any emergency during childbirth? Or you allow her to wait until due time.
I value life because life is precious and expensive I will give my phone support so any of my family member whose complication arise either as an emergency or what has been already for seen to go for CS to serve the life of your baby and your life as well. I have a very close relative who gave birth to CS and now there is no regret that baby has been the source of happiness to her this wouldn't have happened if she has bluntly refuse to undergo CS and put the life of herself and that of her unborn baby I see no regret she is happy to have her healthy bundle of joy healthy and hearty.
So dear friends I encourage everyone not to see Cesarean section as a dead sentence but as a way of serving a life in terms of emergency.
