JUNGLE JUSTICE IN AKWA IBOM STATE

I will love to start with a question, is jungle justice the right way of obtaining justice? The right to Life and fair hearing are enshrined in chapter four (4) of the 1999 constitution (as amended) and are inalienable right, hence, should br respected by all at all time.
Jungle justice in our state is alarming and as such, i may describe it as ' travesty of justice ' which has lead to the killing of innocent souls in my state because the right to fair hearing was deprived.
The incident that happened around my area got me infuriated to come up with this write up and my question if jungle justice is the right way of obtaining justice?
An innocent young man was Lynch after he was gruesomely beaten by angry youth in my area in the name of obtaining justice unknowingly that the young man was the real owner of the phone.
Two thieves snatched his phone from him around an hour of 5pm and ran into the market to get themselves mixed up, the real owner of the phone chased them and was shouting thieves! Thieves!! Thieves!!!. The thieves inturned shouted back at the real owner of the phone and was calling him thief too and since the voices of the real thieves was louder than the owner of the phone since they were two. Before one could say jack robbinson , angry youth had already got held of the innocent owner of the phone and was gruesomely beaten and was ablazed. The right to fair hearing was deprived from him . It was one guy who witnessed the whole scenerio tried explaining the whole scene, but the fire had already executed the innocent young man when the thieves had already absconded.

WHY JUNGLE JUSTICE

Atimes i do muttered this question within me , why jungle justice? And due to my curiosity, i had to undergo some one on one oral interview with few people around my area in other to find out why people enjoy taking jungle justice and the responses i got was that corruption has eaten deep into the rightful people that are incharge of doing that and as the results of that , what is seem to be properly done is been bribed with money which led to calling a white color black thereby increasing the rate of crime in our state. I want to end this writeup with a question. What should be our way forward to jungle justice.
