"Why can't you just listen to him", Sandra said as she turned to look at her friend Juliet who seems not to be interested with whatever she was saying. She paid no attention at all.

As far as Juliet was concerned,she was so done with having anything to do with guys around her. She had suffered so many heartbreak in the past which has made her sealed up her heart.

Her heart which used to be very tender has now become as hard as rock. Well would you blame her for being so mean to Jerry who wouldn't stop calling to get her attention? Maybe no. She is not just interested in men anymore.

---

Juliet could not get over the last heartbreak she had with Kelvin. She loved Kelvin with the whole of her heart, she didn't get that measure of love in return, although she tought he loved her not until she found out that Kelvin was just a player who only used her to win a bet he had with his friend.

She felt so humiliated and used, she found it very hard to forgive herself for being foolish and not calculative, as in loving with her head as well as her tender heart. Well the did has been done.This was the third relationship she was into..

She hates to remember how the first guy he ever met dumped her and went for her best friend who as that time acted as though she was helping the relationship only for her to find out one day that he has interest in his man. The long and short was that she lost him to her best friend.

The second guy showed up like someone who is in need of a serious relationship and then found his way into her heart. But the unexpected happened,she discovered through some well meaning folks and gossipers that her so called lover is already married with two kids which she also confirmed...

Maybe now,you understand Juliet's plight. That was the reason she ignored Jerry's call. Jerry is a well to do young man who happens to be one of the credible customers of one of the branches of the organization where Juliet works.

They bumped into each other on one fateful day, Juliet phone fell in the process and the screen got damaged. Jerry had to a apologize and insisted he would like to take responsibility for the repairs which he did after getting Juliet's contact.

Although she was reluctant but she just had to give Jerry because he told her he would reach her through her other small phone to give her back the damaged phone after repairs. Well that sounds cool and harmless to her.

Now the phone is now fixed and has been given back to Juliet but Jerry could not stop thinking about Juliet,he finds his mind travelling back and forth, thinking about Juliet. This started the pursuit for a woman his heart now yearns for.

Ever since the time Juliet realized that Jerry wanted more,she became very hardened and tough towards him all because she didn't want to break the wall she has managed to build around her heart again. It wasn't easy building that wall from the piece left but she managed.

---

Trust became an issue, she couldn't trust any guy who comes around, not even Jerry who she only knows as one of their credible customer in a branch she doesn't even work in.
Jerry on the other hand has used Juliet's boss and collegue to reach out to her, he has sent gifts to her countless times but it wasn't yielding.

Jerry is in love, I mean he has been practically caught up in the web of love. He wants to settle down with Juliet and he is so for real but how would she realize this and agree to be his woman. This is really a hard nut to crack you know.

On one fateful weekend, he decided to summon courage to visit her at home, he knew this was not very right as he didn't even inform her he would be coming,neither does she know that He already knows her house, but what would you have Jerry do, the feelings and emotions is now so overwhelming that he can't really control how it any longer.

He drove straight to her house and then knocked... Juliet was so mad when she saw who was standing at the door. "Who gave you my address"? was what came out of her mouth, she was so furious and then gave Jerry two hot slaps for intruding into her privacy... Jerry stood there dumbfounded and sorry for himself at the same time.

He left with his head bow in shame while Juliet was still fuming and spiting out thunder and fire at the same time. It was after he left that she came to her senses and realized what she has done.
Thoughts started running through her mind.

Thoughts like will Mr.Jerry still remain our customer? How would he see me after today and many other thoughts. She felt really sorry, she couldn't summon courage to call and apologize. The anger and frustration she had bottle in from the past relationships has finally caused a huge damage.

---

She felt it will be very wise to see Jerry in person to apologize properly instead of doing that on phone, so she planned visiting Jerry at his Office after work the following Monday since it was weekend. Although she wasn't sure what she would encounter but she knew it was the right thing to do.

---

The D - day came, she was already at Jerry's office with her heart in her mouth even as she approached the door to his office.... "Come in" was what she heard when she knocked...
Jerry took a deep sigh as she saw her and said to her, I know why you're here,You came to apologize.

---

She responded by saying yes... Jerry also said you came specifically because you thought I would stop patronizing your branch, at this point she didn't know what to say because it was also part of the reason she came which couldn't deny.

---

Jerry then said to her, I've forgiven you,I admit my mistakes as well, I shouldn't havecome without your notice or invitation. I wouldn't like it if someone did that to me as well. It's fine now. I won't stop patronizing your branch as this has nothing to do with them. We are good,you can go.

Juliet couldn't hold back the tears she had been fighting hard to keep any longer, she expected a very harsh treatment, more like a payback but got kindness in return.
Jerry gave her his handkerchief to wipe her tears. She wiped her tears and then manage to say thank you and then turned to leave.

As she opened the door, she heared a voice from behind that said "would you mind having a drink with me later this evening"? she turned to look just so that she is sure her mind is not playing her...she saw Jerry with an innocent looking smile on his face even as he made the request.

---

It can't be Mr.Jerry, no! never! Why would someone be this kind to me, after all I did...she thought. She managed to smile and obliged. They later met that evening and then it opened a whole new chapter for the duo.
This singular encounter broke down the the walls around Juliet's heart.

It wasn't easy learning to love again but Jerry helped all along. He made it easy by showing how much he is committed to seeing the relationship work. He proved beyond reasonable doubt that he was really in for this and would love to settle down with her. It didn't take long before Juliet started responding and the fell again love.

She loved again!
