Introduction

Nigeria is a blessed country and despite us being blessed, we have our struggles, pains, and demons but regardless of that, what the country stands for in my heart is second to none. in that regard, let me tell you a bit about this awesome country called Nigeria.

Nigeria is a country on the Africa Continent, West Africa to be precise. The early story of what Nigeria used to be before we were forcefully colonized and deceived into giving out our lands and resources to our colonizers was that Nigeria was a land of peace. although before that, we were not known by the name Nigeria we were differentiated by tribes. The major tribes up to this current date are Yorubas, Hausa/Fulanis, and Igbos. Nigeria gained independence on October 1st, 1960 and since then we have been a Democratic nation asides from the time when the Military government took over the reign of power. Those were days of terror and days we wished never to occur again.

Nigeria is also blessed with bright minds and we were once regarded as the giants of Africa. Nigeria is rich in art, culture, human resources, fertile lands for plantation, and also they have Crude oil. Nigeria is also made of 30% land and 70% water. Nigeria has over 36 states and also over 200 languages recognized languages and of course, over official language is English. In addition, Nigeria is my home, where I was birthed and where I learned all that I am today.

What are the great things that interest you about your country?

They are lots of activities and events that attract me to Nigeria. There is Diversity in the language and culture, which means that they will always be something to learn. Also, the side attractions like festivals of different ethnicity, there are the popular ones like the yam festival, Calabar festivals, Agungun festivals and a whole lot of festivals also.

They are fun places to visit like yankari game reserves, there is ijesha waterfall, Olumo rock, they are lots of beaches to visit also. to start with, they are the popular ones like:

  • Landmark beach
  • Elegushi beach
  • Atican beach
  • Oniru beach
  • Tarkwa Bay Beach

The part of Nigeria where I reside is the western part and to be precise Lagos state. The Nightlife of this part of the city is amazing and it offers a perfect spot to mingle and get to know each other. In Lagos alone, the commercial center of the country and offers the platform to learn and connect to other tribes in Nigeria.

Nigeria is also blessed with lots of amazing humans with lots of broad ideas and this alone is a side attraction. Nigeria offers the best place to leave under the best circumstances. Creating a business or, maintaining it requires a lot less input when compared to other countries around the world.

Which of the things mentioned above do you prefer your country for, over other countries?

Aside from the things mentioned above, the low cost of living in Nigeria make it quite attractive when compared to other countries of the world. The cost of food may be quite high at the moment but it is all due to the inflation which is affecting all countries over the world.

Also, tax is not so harsh in Nigeria when compared to other nations of the world where the government collects 50% of your earnings in a year. This move makes establishing a business in such a nation quite hard as sustaining the business or making a meaningful profit may be hard even in the long run.

No Place like home: If you eventually leave your country in search of greener pastures, would you be willing to come back because of your response in (3).

People who hit jackpot after leaving Nigeria for greener pasture end up coming back to settle down in the country as they know that cost of living is low. Living within one's means will not be an issue in Nigeria after going abroad in search of greener pasture.

Also, this is one one the major reasons why people who have left Nigeria for greener pastures later end up coming back even after they are successful. The reason is that it is easy to set up a business with which Tax won't be a hindrance to running it successfully.

🤣🤣🤣👏👏 You say Jack pot do how...

And to be franck, this is the bittered truth about the matter. There is always high cost of living for almost all foreigners outside the country and so I think your home of origin is always where you can live a low key life

high cost of living no be your mate oo.. one got to humble
