Greetings my fellow steemians in steem4Nigeria community, I believe You're all okay. It's my pleasure to welcome y'all to my blog and this time with a different discussion.

I still can remember this rhyme during my school days, "Educa...tion.....is the key, education is the key.' it's true that education is the key because the opportunity to stay and enjoy the steemit platform is through education, i believe it would've been complicated to read and understand without the introduction of education.

But in some aspects, education isn't the only path to financial freedom because not all with the educational degree have been able to find a way to solve their financial status. Ohh, let me reserve word, let's adhere to the contest hint.

Must you have a degree before you have a well paying job? Explain with experiences if any

I believe securing a good paying job here in Nigeria or any other countries requires a degree, certificate of education. But sad enough that even the ones with a good degree cannot secure a good paying job due to insufficient job opportunities.

Yes I have an experienced from last year, a secondary school graduate neighbor of mine who couldn't afford to pay the higher institutions bills has once had the opportunity to met with one of the civil servants who promised to help him secure a good paying job at the government premise.

Due to the fact that this guy couldn't make it to the tertiary institution to secure a degree, the job that would've been given to him was ignored, why? Because the requirements of the job stated that he who applied must own a degree of his own. With this experienced, securing a good paying Job required a degree.

Is the contest title trying to condemn education?

Nope i don't think so, i guess the ideology of this contest is to read different people perspective about education and job. Yes we're all from different environments with a variant of experience, we have different respective perspectives that evoke sense.

Who knows, we can actually find the best advice we've been searching for right here just by or through reading entries.

Is it dangerous to have the view that you can only make money after schooling?

This is only the mindset of a rich kids, the average or the poor kids doesn't develop this mindset. To me we cannot secure a good job while in school but we can still secure a profitable handwork without a degree or certificate. In a normal sense, job is different from handwork and we can secure a good earning handwork while we're still in school. And a student can start earning online by learning a specific skill.

I understand that looking for money while in school comes with distractions, cease the study schedule and it seriously affects school but to the non supported students, it's actually a No choice to them as they have to work themselves to the top on their own, at this point the only possible way is to start making money while in school.

Let me end this way, maybe this mindset of making money after schooling is okay to the wealthy students as the support is available but to the non supported students, having this mindset is very ridiculous as your endangering your education career and it is possible to hang halfway.

How has steemit proven that you must not finish school before you start making money?

A big shout out to steemit for setting a pathway that generate incentives income to both students and non students. It has a way too far proven that money can be made even without achieving the degree. With the steemit platform, the weight of our country economy, our personal burden's are less on us.

In conclusion, securing a good paying job requires a degree but when it comes to handwork, degree isn't needed. School is the key to success but at times, our success doesn't come from our handwork. We can make money even when we're in school, the steemit platform has proven that.

I'll love to invite @eliany @goodybest and @missyleo to participate in this contest.
