I don't know if it's just me, but I think any other steemian would agree that that day should be a special day celebrated here on steemit.

If you don't know what day it is, stop wondering, I'll tell ya.😊
It's my day, it's your day, it's every writers day. Now take a break from here, close your eyes, take a deep breath and scream "happy writers day" to every beautiful ink and steemian right there. We deserve it and even more or don't we?

Come to think of it, 🤔there are a thousand professions, but writing is super unique.

🔥Surgeons operate the heart with a knife but writers touch your heart with their pen
🔥judges seal their orders with a mallet, but writers seal their orders with a pen
🔥Engineers fix moving parts, but writers fix human minds with their pen
🔥Artist paint still pictures with colours, but
🔥writers plant mind pictures with their pen
🔥chefs cook and serve you with utensils, writers serve and feeds you with their pen and the list never ends.

The pen, a writers most powerful weapon could be small but definitely mighty, a profession amongst professions cable of twisting or changing your life. Just maybe we should be labeled among the most powerful people on earth. Why?
Because a pen, 🖊️
the jailer
the secret opener
the messenger
the master minder
can only be wielded perfectly by a writer.

Writers day, day to be celebrate?

yes!
But not a day to be shenaniganry.
As a writer, the power bestowed on you by your pen, gives you the freedom to air your mind and thoughts, confer feelings and express emotions. So, use it wisely. Even the pen begs to be used honorably, not for hate speeches, not for defamation, not for libel nor plagiarism and a thousand other nefarious conducts.

Dear writers, being a steemian automatically makes you a writer, but being a qualified and authentic writer, you need to guard against the unruly use of your power. So let it be known hitherto that involving in any writing misconduct automatically strips you of your prestige and rank as a writer and you eventually become a "glorified pen user".

You are a writer, but you happen to loose control of your pen, or perhaps you are faced with some sort of writer's block or probably you love the art of writing, but never had a sterling experience. Don't go lurking out for content in malicious ways, No.

I think this writers day gives me the liberty to share with you some of my little wands I use to cast spells in my ink.

Right, so instead of falling back to the regressive habit of a " glorified pen user", you could rather look into your head. Not with a mirror but with your mind eye. The experiences you face can make great stories if you spice them a bit( fiction or not fiction). The lessons you draw from it can make good inspiring writeups. Your innermost thoughts that live right there in your head can make startling quotes, articles and even poetry. And if you are looking for a start point, steemit can be that start point, but the journey begins with you, and all you need is just to fuel your ink. 💪

Hours ago, I came online in my usual manner to check on my space, then I saw a special message, soon enough tons of them came in like manner with little variations in some. ( I would love to make special mentions but the list would bore you) but they all geared towards a "happy writers day to me" funnily, somewhere in my head, it sounded like; Hey girl, get up and fuel your ink. Guess what? I'm doing just that. And if you are still glued up to this point, then I guess my spells worked just well on you. Smiles, I know I got you right? Lol 😂
Nevertheless Happy writers day and keep fueling your ink champ. Much love from the south south of Nigeria.
