The Diarygame Wednesday June 12th, 2024. Attending a funeral service of our Landlord

Greetings to you all. Today make's me to be too sad concerning the funeral of someone whom were so closed to me. Indeed life is worth cherish, this is known when you loose someone who's very close to you.

Morning

Very early this morning I was in my House when I had a call from my beloved mummy about the funeral of Late Mr. Michael. At this point, she said in a low tune, the grave was ducked this morning.

I felt too sad about it because he's someone I knew from time. However, I concluded that I won't meetup to go for the burial but my mind could not allowed me to stay back! I had to make a move for the burial.

The arrival of the coups

The Roman Catholic Church was in charge of the burial this is because the deceased was a member of the church. But due to his commitment to church services by attending Masses, he had great turnout at his funeral.

Deceased personal life

Mr. Michael is said to be 50 years old but mentally disabled. This challenged came when he was still in his secondary school and since then, he couldn't recovered.

All these years some measures of treatment had been given but all was for no avail. One thing about the deceased that people loved is about his life style. Note these may include, cleanliness, respect, honesty and good habits.

Even at death, he was still been praise by those who came to give him the last respect.

Grave side

At the arrival of the Priest, the choir started singing while the Priest went on to sanctify the grave. Immediately after that, he said the necessary prayers while the coups were lowered.

Sand was put in the grave by the father and the family was called upon to put sand in the grave. At this point two of her family members came out and said a word of prayer before putting sand in the grave.

Immediately the family performed this, the Priest ordered that the grave should be covered. We started filling the grave with sand as the choir started singing "Peace perfect peace, in this dark world of sin and ass this song was going on, the grave was covered.

Conclusion

At the end, we give glory to God for all he had done and we appreciate the church for showing much concern in the burial.
