The Diarygame: How flood covered the entire Road after the rain drops. 26/06/2024.

Hello great Steemians, I'm happy that we are all doing well. It's a pleasure to tell you how my day went but it wasn't easy because the drop of the rain was a trap for me.

Morning

In the morning I had to visit a photo accessories shop and I tried to find out the prices of frames and the battery of the camera.

For the camera battery, I told the seller to find it for me to take a shot on it and he displayed it all with their chargers. I bought some frames and asked the laminator to park them at his place.

Afternoon

My guy went to the mechanic to change oil in his bike so he asked for a company. Reaching there, I saw that he had already kept his generator for repair. All this was taken care of as we can see in some pictures taken below

At workshop

Evening

It was around 4pm when I was planning to go home but suddenly I saw how the cloud was pregnant and it was already coming down.

I was still at the mechanic workshop but not knowing that the street was something else. I was thinking about how to run home but the rain trapped me down.

Before I realized it, the street was flooded, and no way to go from there. All those who were tracking, had to look for a spot and stand while bikes and cars were swimming in the ocean.

This was not funny at all because nearly all the streets are victims of this! As the rain subsided, a young girl came to where I was standing and she said in her words, "I'm looking for a way to pass" and I told her to manage and pass by the corner to check the next street!

But her reply was, the next street is worse than this! That she's just coming from there. This is not good at all.

I used to see this kind of flood when I was still in Aba during my service year. Immediately after a drop of rain, the entire Road will be filled with flood but since they are used to the System, they don't wait for it rather they would remove their footwear and keep the train going.

In conclusion, I think that the community should look into repairing the gutters and removing all the dirt from the gutters to enable the free flow of water when it's raining.

I stood for over an hour after the rain stopped while the water dried up before I left the place for my house.

I hope you will also tell your community leader to do something reasonable if you have such a challenge in your area or in future.
